Unit seems to ignite then cuts out, then blower comes on. Sometimes goes through that sequence and then no blower, does that 2-3 times then light on thermostat saying heater is on stays on but unit does...

If this has an igniter could be flame sensor. Flame sensor tells gas valve that flame is present or it will kick out. Flame sensor should be small rod connected to one wire, and it is on the flame somewhere sometimes opposite end from igniter If you do have sensor turn power off remove sensor and clean If white film on it. I usually clean it with dollar bill

Low flame signal, what is a flame sencor and where is it at?

The flame sensor is located on the burner itself inserted into the flame it is sometimes called flame rod about 2 inches long and about the size of a pencil lead. Most of the time this happens it is because of low gas flow or dirty furnace. Check your burners to see if they need cleaning. Rus

Furnace has does not ignite flame

how often do you replace your filter?

On the limit switch that protects your unit when it gets to hot the number one reason is dirty filter.

The pressure switch is located in the upper side of cabinet has a rubber hose connected to it. They very rarely go out though. So find your vent fan the first fan that comes on and follow the rubber hose to the switch.

3 year old Beckett AFG with Clean-Cut system. New inline filter new strainer, new nozzle, flame looks correct in pattern always. Flame does not sputter prior to shut-off. I did notice that when it shut off...

Called Beckett at 1-800-OIL-BURN and explained the problem. They told me that the solenoid on the oil pump (Clean Cut) was the cause. I purchased a new pump for $50 at the local plumbing supply and installed it. Problem solved.
