You may have to "adjust" the general location. For example, none of my GPSs can identify where I live so I program them for a nonexistent address across the street.

SETTING A ROUTER AS A REPEATER 1. Connect your computer to the repeater router's...

1. Connect your computer to the repeater router's RJ45 portwith a LAN cable.
2. Open a browser, then enter the router's URL configuration's IP address, This is usually something similar to
3. Enter the configuration user name and password. The router will display the various router settings.
4. Go to the page that changes the IP address of the router.Changed the IP address so that it is not the same as the main router on the network, or any other network devices. If the main router on the network is set to then the repeater router should use a higher number (ie. 10 or higher), such as or higher, depending on how many devices are on your network.
5. Disable the repeater router's DHCP server. This setting should be on the same page as the IP address, (this may be different depending on the make of the router). When the main router is operating normally, this server assigns an IP address to every device that is connected to your network. Because this router is used as a repeater, the main router on your network will still issue the IP addresses.
6. Also turn off the DNS server, if it is activated. This function will be taken over by the main router.
7. Disable any firewall settings on the repeater router. This is usually in the "Security" section, depending on the make and model of your router.
8. Remove all in the "Port Forwarding" section. Some routers may refer to this as "Applications and Gaming," and it allows less-restricted access to the internet.
9. Set the operating mode switch to "Gateway" or "Switch" if applicable. Also, if the repeater router is a wireless router then disable the wireless access or set it to access point only.
10. Save the settings for each page, and reboot the router. When the router boots up, the changes will allow it to act as a simple repeater.
11. Now, place the repeater router in a new location and connect both routers with a Ethernet cable in each of the router's RJ45 LAN ports, and power it up both routers.

2 good tips I learned during setup

1. The print server address is indepent of the router address. You have to set the print server address manually, and then 'add a printer' and assign it matching properties. For the individual who kept getting .102 then .103 (I did too), here's the fix. You need to assign an address that is higher than the max DHCP options. On my Linksys router setup, I found that it started assigning at .100 with a max of 50 users (up to .150). Therefore, I went into the print server and assigned mine .175. Then, I added a printer and under its properties, assigned the matching IP address.

2. When assigning the IP address ( for mine) during 'Add a Printer', the Port field below it automatically fills in with an address of something like IP_192..... I had left this the same and followed the instructions from Trendnet as well. It did not work. Well the final solution that finally allowed me to print after hours of frustration, was to manually change this Port field to 'U1' thus matching the pop-up window that Trendnet instructions walk through (the one with LPR and bit enabling etc.) where it says to input U1. I decided to try U1 as the Port and it worked. And it was beautiful to hear the printer start cranking after hours of frustration. Good luck.

My GO Home Address was set to wrong address so that I like to chage to the correct one.

Try this, go to "Where To?" > Favorites Depending on what model you have you will have a section in this page that will allow you to change your Home. Next input your home address as a favorite and name it "Home" this will tie it to your go home setting.

Hope this helps!

How can I delete default cities or addresses in my 2001 LS430 navigation system? I have the 2002 manual, which has a different screen interface. Once I input several letters in an address, it pulls up...

It sounds as though you need to go into the NAV settings and change your search region.
There are 10 geographic regions in North America which will show in the preliminary zone set ups.
Get a manual from your nearest Lexus dealer, better yet ask for a quick walk though of the Nav System from an experienced Sales rep ( one who was there around when the car sold new)... at HIS or HER convenience. Call ahead and respect his time and you should get all the help you need.
That is called THE LEXUS EXPERIENCE . Establish a relationship for the future.....

1999 Honda Civic EX fault codes 1366 and 1399

This code is not documented so the code reader is giving a false reading.
If the car runs OK and check engine light is not on, I would forget about it.
