Unplug your machine and unclip the plastic trim panel across the bottom of the machine (front) to reveal the circular pump filter cover. Unscrew this cover with your fingers and remove any debris inside. Put the cover back on, clip the panel back on and try your machine again. Should be fine.

You probably have the end of the outlet hose too low to the ground it should be about half way up the back of the machine or fitted into a stand pipe.

or the water entering the machine will just siphon out

The clean filter light is on, where is the filter on the Whirlpool AWD3571

There is a little door set in the botton right of the front of the machine. Flip the door open, the filter is behind it (It unscrews).

Can't recall if this model has a little drain pipe that you pull out do drain off any dregs of water in the filter. If it doesn't, I usually pull the machine out from the wall and tip it back a little so the water in the filter doesn't pour out when I unscrew it. HEAVY MACHINE, if you are going to tip it backwards, have someone help you do this!

Water is not getting into the washing machine. Fridgidaire Crown series. Water is coming through the hoses. Detatched hose from washer, water still comes out. Cleaned screen on back of washer. No...

Hi. sounds like the pressure system is blocked if it goes through a cycle with no water. Find the pressure switch in the top of the machine its the size of a small coffee jar lid, it has wires and a thin rubber pipe to it, pull the pipe off and see if the switch clicks as you do so. If it does you need to follow the pipe, at the end it goes to the pressure chamber. It will be blocked with gunge and will need cleaning out, also blow through the pipe to make sure thats clear. Make sure you fit the pipe back with no air leaks or the machine will over fill and flood. If you don't feel confident in doing this Please call an engineer.Best to be safe, it could also have damaged the heater or thermal cutout

Clean pump indicator light on washing machine whirlpool wfs1273bw

The Pump is directly behind the bottom panels plug. The Pump is gravity fed via a large pipe connected to the bottom of the drum sink (The bit that collects all the water from the the bit that spins). There are 2 outputs from the pump. The pressure side (coming out of the hose) and the auxillary drain (the black plug behind the bottom panel). Undo the plug as mentioned above... and if you have taken the thing outside to drain it, you might as well tip the machine up on its side and pull out the big hose off the drum sink (mentioned in a post above) to check that nothing is blocking that either, As you will see when you tip it up and look in from underneath the machine, it's just a small pump, easilily accessible. Nothing complicated about it.

My duet frontloader is shooting water from the area where your detergent goes it is not going in the machine

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France @14:22 Sat afternoon!

Suggestion- remove the detergent tray by pressing (not too) firmly on the (plastic) lip at the back centre of the tray and pull out.
Clean it really well and also see if behind the tray has not some foreign objects in it. Clean the whole area also- I use a dish washing brush to clean the jet to ensure the water goes straight down into the tray rather than squirting all over the place!
Hope this helps,

Cheers,

John C

My Whirlpool washing machine WFS1273AW, has been displaying "clean pump" and F02. I have cleaned the pump and even had a repair man change the pump. However the machine won't move beyond the wash cycle and...

The same thing happened to me and it was because there were socks stuck where the drain pipe attaches to the machine. If you tip your machine on its side and pull the black pipe off from the bottom of the drum you can remove anything which is stuck. Then it just clips back on again with a metal clip.

Doesn't fill

Is your outlet pipe at the required height behind the machine? Your outlet pipe should be approx 3 feet high behind your machine, or the water would just flow out. The pump in your machine pumps the water OVER this height. Check this out.
