Question about Vacuums

1 Answer

I have an RBV3000CESV-01 Electric Blower/Vacuum. I have used it twice but yesterday after blowing some leaves into a pile and sucking them up, it will no longer blow. Regards, Martin Fielding

Just a guess here
... but now that you have sucked "up"
everything... you might want to have a look at your chipper.

Most of these blades resemble little more than
a BLENDER-BLADE and if you sucked up a serious twig
you will need to clear it BEFORE using it for more than a paper weight.

Just be sure to have
ALL POWER CUT OFF... so your fingers aren't.
ALL POWER CUT OFF...

so NONE of your fingers get CUT at all...!!

My Kirby is blowing out not sucking in how do I change this?

Either there is a blower option on the vacuum cleaner that needs to be set back to where it belongs, or somebody changed the brushes on the motor and got the brush or field wire connections reversed (one or the other, but not both).

How do I switch from blowing to sucking

Just took a look at the exploded view for this vacuum and I think there is no way to set it up to "blow" air out of the unit via a hose. On a lot of the vacuums of old there was an input hose port and an output (blower) hose port. Many of them these days, such as yours, exhaust the air in a general manner as opposed to a port that a hose can be connected to in order to act as a blower. Looks like you can only use it as a vacuum.
