I have put in new fuel pump for 1996 tahoe but, when i was about to connect the harness plug to fuel pump and noticed the plug was melted. So question is can i replace just the plug end or do i need to...

Just replacing the plug or terminal will be enough. Make sure to tighten the replacement very well. Loose contacts create high electrical resistance heating the plug or terminal. High temperature creates even more resistance heating even more the plug or terminal. This is the reason why it melts. Good luck.

Changed spark plugs AND HAD TO TAKE OFF THE ALTERNATOR TO GET TO BACK set of plugs. when replacing alternator hot wire touched the alternator casing and it arced, now car wont start

You melted a fusible link. These are on the starter solenoid, attached to the big terminal that has the battery cable on it. There should be maybe two or three of them. You can recognize them by what look like plastic barrels between the meltable portion and the hard wire. Grab each one individually and pull. If it stretches, it's melted. Sometimes there is enough left to put a **** splice in line, or maybe have to replace the whole thing. I think you can get these at your auto parts store. Take the barrel portion with you as the amperage rating should be molded into this part.

Well, sounds like you have an internal damage since it smokes, if it smokes as soon as it kicks on, and blowing the fuse right away, I would have it fixed. But my guess would be something with the ground that is making this happen, or some how your power is grounding on the amp. When ever smoke comes into play, thats never good any way at this point you gotta admitt that thiers internal damage.. blowing fuses can also be cause by over working your amp. along with the sub load at 1 ohm make sure your amp can do the same.. hope this was helpful in some way

POWER TERMINAL MELTED

MOST TIMES THAT A POWER TERMINAL MELTS, YOU WILL FIND THAT THE POWER CONNECTION WAS LOOSE AND AT HIGH CURRENT LEVELS, IT WILL ARC AND HEAT UP ENOUGH TO CAUSE IT TO EITHER MELT THE HOUSING AND DISCOLOR THE METAL OR SOMETIMES GET SO HOT THAT THE SOLDER CONNECTING THE CONNECTOR TO THE PC BOARD WILL GET HOT ENOUGH TO MELT AND BURN FROM THERE. IF IT IS DAMAGED ENOUGH AND YOU CANNOT MAKE A NEW CONNECTION, YOU WILL HAVE TO HAVE IT SERVICED AND SIMPLY PAY GREAT ATTENTION TO THE TORQUE OF THE SCREWS TO INSURE THAT YOU HAVE A GOOD CONNECTION. AFTER IT IS TORQUED DOWN, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO PULL QUITE HARD ON THE WIRE WITHOUT DISLODGING IT FROM THE CONNECTOR. IF YOU DISLODGE IT FROM THE CONNECTOR WHEN PULLING QUITE HARD ON IT, THEN IT WAS NOT TIGHT ENOUGH. LET ME KNOW IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE....V

Wierd stopped working audiobahn a2300hct

Disconnect all speaker wires from the speaker terminals of the amp and disconnect signal cables from the amp. If it powers up normally, the wiring and speakers need to be checked. If it still shuts down, the amp likely has blown output transistors.
