Go to control panel and look for a FONTS icons, open it and paste all the fonts that you are downloaded in your PC, if there's any duplicate just replace it, and after that restart your pc.

How do I remove fonts from The Printshop 23.1?

Windows programs install fonts in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder. The fonts in that folder are accessible by all Windows programs - including Broderbund programs. However, older versions of Print Shop and PrintMaster are designed to use ONLY *.ttf fonts . So, the only fonts that those Broderbund programs can access in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder are *.ttf fonts.

NOTE: Since both Print Shop 2.0 & 3.0 and PrintMaster 2.0, 2011 and 2012 do not access fonts from Broderbund's Core Fonts folder, the following information does not apply to those versions of Print Shop and Printmaster.

Older versions of Print Shop and PrintMaster install fonts in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Broderbund\Core Fonts folder. The fonts installed in that folder are accessible ONLY in Broderbund programs and are NOT accessible in other Windows programs.

Some newer versions of Print Shop and PrintMaster install shortcuts for some (but not all) Broderbund fonts in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder. When shortcuts for Broderbund fonts are installed in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder, those fonts will be accessible in all Windows programs.

For all other Broderbund fonts - which don't have a shortcut in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder - the most efficient way to use those fonts in other Windows programs would be to manually install those fonts in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder.

To install Broderbund fonts into the C:\Windows\Fonts folder, do this:

WinXP & WinVista:

1. Open the C:\Windows\Fonts folder (either by going to Control Panel then clicking on 'Fonts' or by opening Windows Explorer then selecting the C:\Windows\Fonts folder)

2. When the Fonts window opens, click on 'File' in the menubar then click on 'Install New Font' in the menu that drops down.

3. When the Add Fonts window opens, click in the box next to 'Copy fonts to Font folder' (to remove the checkmark).

NOTE: When the checkmark is removed from the box next to 'Copy fonts to Font folder', the end result will be one font file in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Broderbund\Core Fonts folder and a shortcut to that font file in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder. If the checkmark is not removed, you will end up with two identical font files - one in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Broderbund\Core Fonts folder and one in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder. Since it's not absolutely necessary to have font files in both folders, you can save some hard drive space by making sure that the checkmark is removed from the box next to 'Copy fonts to Font folder'.

4. Using the Folders: box on the bottom left side of the Add Fonts window, navigate to the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Broderbund\Core Fonts folder. Then, double-click on the Core Fonts folder.

6. After the font names are displayed, click on the name of the font you want to install, then click on OK. After the font is installed, it should appear in the fonts lists for all of your installed software.

If you don't mind having two identical font files on your hard drive, you can install Broderbund fonts by simply copying the font file from the C:\Program Files\Common Files\Broderbund\Core Fonts folder to the C:\Windows\Fonts folder.

Windows 7:

Either simply copy the font file to the C:\Windows\Fonts folder or right click on the font file then select 'Install' from the menu that drops down.

Win98 or WinME:

WARNING: If you are using Win98 or WinME, you will want to be sure to NOT have more than 750 fonts installed in the C:\Windows\Fonts folder - because more than 750 installed fonts on Win98 or WinME can cause a multitude of problems.
tip

Overcoming Font Overload in Windows

We all like to install fonts however when the number gets above 1,000 your PC will start to SLOOOW down loads this will also slow down programs that use system fonts like Adobe Photoshop so it's a good idea to keep the number of installed fonts below 400. If you do this you will find your system and programs will start faster and run much smoother.
Does this mean you have to give up all your favorite fonts? Not necessarily... There are a few things you can do to have the best of both worlds. The best way is to use a fontmanager there are a few here are some of the best
Font Frenzy has the added use and will allow you to revert back to system defaults, otherwize use this procedure posted at FileFrontForums

Fonts Utilities
Bitstream Font Navigator (Corel)
Font Frenzy (Sound Doctorine Ministry)
Shelltools (Moon Software)
Adobe Type Manager Lite (Adobe)
Fix Font Folder (High Logic)

Font Viewers
NexusFont (Xiles)

AMP Font Viewer (Ampsoft)
Advanced Font Viewer (Styopkin)

Microsoft Typography Tools
Font Validator
OTF File Extension

Will lotus 123 load from a cd on windows 8

you have to create a batch file to run Lotus 1-2-3, and (so far as I can tell) you have to run the program from your root drive, because the program makes its calls TO the root drive. Here's the batch program you create in Notepad or other plain-text editor:

cd\
cd\lotus
123.exe
cd\
exit

* Delete the 'exit' if you want the window to stay open as a DOS window, after you're done with the program. Save the file with a '.bat' extension. (Note: unlike XP, you can close the window with your mouse, afterwards.)

* After creating that file, you have to right click on the file name, select 'Properties (in Win8, Vista, XP) and do some more tweaking. The Properties dialogue box SHOULD show the following tabs: General, Shortcut, Options, Font, Layout, Colors, Compatibility. Each of these needs editing.

GENERAL tab: select Normal Window or even Maximized (though it won't actually maximize). Also in Win8, click on Advanced, and 'Run as administrator'.
OPTIONS tab: select Large cursor. You can always change it, but since the program really won't run fullscreen, you'll want the cursor to be oversized, since the window will be smaller and will shrink everything in it.
FONT tab: this is what Windows uses to select the screen size, despite all the other settings (which you also still need to set). In Win7, you have three types of fonts to set. Click on the 'Bold' option, as that makes the text easier to read.
For True Type 'Consolas' font (which results in a more square window), pick a font size between 18 and 24. More than that will be bigger than your entire monitor screen, when you actually run the program (looks are deceiving, you have to test the results with trial and error).
For True Type Lucida Console font, use the same 18-24 font size range, but the screen will be much shallower and wider, so you can afford to decrease font size to 18-20. 28 is really too wide, on a widescreen monitor (1366x768 pixels). But maybe you'll like it, or your monitor will accommodate that size. Mine wouldn't.

For Raster fonts, 12 x 16 is the optimal setting. ON some (i.e., Dell Ultrasharp) monitors, Raster fonts look best. On my Toshiba 19L4200U TV monitor, the Lucida Consule setting is clearest.
LAYOUT tab: Pick a window size width no greater than 85, and height no greater than 38. Then test to see if it's too big. If yes, you'll also need to decrease font size, as well as the Layout size, here. Experiment, because you can't gauge the right mix of window and font size, just by the diagrams in the dialogue box.

COLORS tab: Lotus 1-2-3 makes hardware calls on the screen, so whatever you put in this tab, it will ignore. But other DOS programs might 'obey' the colors you set here. If you remember the old Norton Utilities days of setting Mode, etc., that's what this is.

COMPATIBILITY tab: You can't set resolution to override at 640x480. The setting is either ignored, or your monitor will freak out. For Lotus 1-2-3, in Win 8 I didn't need to turn on the 'compatibility mode'. It made no difference in the results. (You don't need it in XP, either.)
* Finally, you have to find the program itself, then right-click on the program name and edit its Properties. Here, that program is 123.exe, and it has to be in your root directory. (All the program files Lotus will use, must be there; at least one wk1 file must be in C:\123 at startup. I'm sure this can be tweaked, but I'm using the default Lotus program settings for a typical installation.)

My ixl software stopped working, it won't load up in the computer it says the following message: Unexpected error occurred: Font 'Arial Rounded MT Bold' does not support style...

Fisher price has a fix for this. Apparently XP, Vista and W7 do not have this font in the installation packet, and it was supposed to be included on the v 2.0.0 iXL installation disc. It was not.
Call the 888 number in the error message and go to the prompt for the handheld/plug to PC components and talk with them. They will email you the font you need to install. Should work like a champ after that.

Having problem with Photo Explosion on Windows 7. Get this error Load MPEG vio Driver Error "ulead.datPE.ini

A way to fix this error which is a font problem is to take the PE.ini from ProgramData\Ulead Systems\Ulead Photo Express\6.0 and stick it in the ulead.dat file in the Program Files (x86) if you have a 64 bit system and then find the u32Comm file in the program files (x86) and change the font to a font where it will not say that error again, I have done this in Windows Vista before and it worked, I also done it in Windows 7 and that also worked allthough right now I can't remember what font so you'll have to trial and error the fonts and maybe the sizes etc. but it's mainly a font error within Photo Explosion Deluxe, 1 problem I'm having is Photo Explosion Deluxe 3.0 loads on one desktop and loads fine newly created desktops but it doesn't load on others. I figure it was made by cheap software creators.

The font size is very small on the my printed doc. and I want to increase the font size

Fonts and font sizes are managed within the program you are using, the actual font files, and your operating system (typically Windows). This is especially true with some languages on the internet - you will need Language Packs from the program manufacturer to successfully display the characters of some languages.
If the printer works with other fonts and other programs just fine, but is having a problem with one specific font or program, then you will need to contact the manufacturer of the font (Or Microsoft, if it is a font that came with Windows), or the program manufacturer, for more assistance. The printer only prints what is sent to it, if other programs work fine, then the printer, its driver, and the related hardware are fine. Any printer does also not include fonts in the installation of the printer driver, so reinstalling the printer driver will not replace or solve font problems. If the printer is not working from multiple programs, let us know so we can troubleshoot this issue. Otherwise, you will need to contact your program manufacturer for information on how to manage fonts or the manufacturer of your specific font.
