Steering is locked up tight. How to fix?

Hi Ron & Katie:
Steering will be a combination of linkages and levers.
I'd recommend that you invest in a spray can of penetrating oil and methodically work your way from the handgrips to the wheels. Soak every place that even looks like it might be a pivot point. Try to move the parts. You may need to dis-connect some, and re-connect later.
When you find the part that should be moving, getting just a bit of motion, soaking it with penetrating oil, and patiently wiggling it will eventually free it up. Flush with penetrating oil and then spray with a product like garage door lubricant.

I replaced the heating element in my dryer (GE model#DPSB620EC4WW) and am putting it back together. I am uncertain where the wires go on the control panel. There is one gey, one purple, and 2 black that...

There should be a tech envelope in the console labeled "tech data" that has the wiring diagram on it. Dig thru that envelope and you should have the termation points you need. If not I am still looking for the wiring diagram and will respond with it when located. Be patient because I may have to download a service manual.

We are not sure that we have the belt installed properly. It keeps getting torn up. Where can we find a belt diagram? We have a 50" deck.

Without your model number all I can do is refer you to this link where there are very many deck routing diagrams:
http://opebycrigby.tripod.com/decks/jddeck.html
Find your deck... on the VERY LONG page.
Takes a while to load so be patient.

Didn't use mower for close to one year. Was starting fine back then. Now won't start. It will start when gas is poured in and will run until gas is depleted. Has gas up to a small black round plastic unit...

Hi Ron. Welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly. Remove the float bowl and Solenoid if so equipped and remove the rust and debris from the bottom of the float bowl. Also use a toothpick or scribe and remove the debris from the jet in the tube that runs from the float bowl connection up to the throat of the carb. Use cab cleaner in the hole of the cab throat and force the cleaner DOWN through the jet orifice. If you carb does not have a solenoid make sure the hole(s) in the float bowl nut are also clear of obstructions.

This may sound like a simple fix but on engines that have sat around unsed for a year or more this is quite common for the debris to form or collect in the bottom of the float bowl fro rust / non-use.
If this does not get you going just respond here and I can provide you with a manual and what to do next.

Thanks for choosing FixYa.

I am wanting to purchase a replacement battery for a Breville Vac Master wet/dry vacuum Model no.BHV7. The battery is 6V, 4.5Ah and the number on the end of the battery is S-051101 Please advise...

There are many model of the 6V/4.5Ah battteries available as you will have to choose the make and warranty period the dealer gives for eacch.
If you can get a 6Ah with the same size to fit inside it will be ideal.
So call your nearest battery dealer to confirm the prices and decide onthe make..

Everything is fine, except it chirps. Chirps loudly and goes for a while, stops chirping, then starts chirping. Is there a drive belt that needs lubricating?

Hi Ron. I just lost a very extensive reply to you. Yes it can be the pulley making the chirp or the drum rollers. Items 15 - 18 this link: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5172907&diagram_id=1356738#d1356738

It can also be caused by dry drum rollers but usually this is associated with a rumble: Items 2, 11, 12 and 13.

Do the saniflow toilet need to be plumbed in to mains waste? I have a patient who needs a toilet located outside the house that needs to be trouble free

Hi and welcome to FixYa, I am Kelly.

In short yes it will need plumbed with a smaller drain line to the home waste drain.

The unit uses a fast-rotating blade to reduce waste and toilet paper in the flush water, which is immediately and entirely released under pressure through "small-diameter piping" to the sewer or septic tank. No special maintenance is needed and the pump is sealed for life. This simple and cost-effective alternative to conventional plumbing is ideal for basement renovations and other home-improvement projects. Properly sized, a Saniflo macerating system can handle all the fixtures in a bathroom, including the sink, shower, tub and toilet & endash; even on a septic system. What's more, these fixtures will work up to 12 feet below and as far as 150 feet away from a septic tank or sewer line.

Go to this page and download the manual for the installation instructions:

http://www.saniflo.com/Downloads.aspx

These are all the installation downloads available on that page:

Installation Instructions:

SANIBEST SANIGRIND SANIPLUS SANICOMPACT SANIPACK SANIALARM SANISHOWER SANISWIFT SANIVITE SANICUBIC Classic SANISTAR SANITOP

Thanks for using FixYa,

Missing Docking Station key

You will have to take the docking station apart until you can see the locking mechanism. Once you can see the mechanism, you should be able to get a screwdriver ron it and release it. Make sure that it releases, don't force it, and most of all, be patient.
