Question about Whirlpool 1.6 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave
I was given a Whirlpool microwave. I think it's 6 or 7 years old. I does not have the bottom filters. Is it unwise to use the microwave without those filters?
Not really over the short term, if the vent discharges back into the room. If it is of the type that discharges through the ceiling, you could have grease build up in the vent over time. I found replacement generic filters the other day at Lowe's. But, I wasn't looking for filters at the time. Check there or a similar store.
