Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

SOURCE: sd card, or device error when copying music files

If you are trying to play the file then it will be unmounted as it needs to disconnect from the pc to do that you could try copying them in batches if that doesnt work it may be a USB driver fault in which case i would reccomend reinstalling the G1 driver.

unmounting allows for safe removal of the sd card from device, meaning when you unmount the device doesn't read the sd card anymore until you remove it and insert again...erase basically formats the sd card

My Kyocera Rise has LOTS of problems! The one I want to ask is why do I keep getting a random message saying, "SD card has been unexpectedly removed"?

There are several possible reasons for this. The Kyocera Rise requires an SD card to be unmounted through the memory option in the settings. If you remove the SD without unmounting, you will receive the error message. The Rise also has several software issues that sometimes cause your SD to stop being read, even while still inserted. If you receive this error message without removing your SD card, it is recommended that you take your phone to a company certified Sprint store to have it checked out.

Hi, I tried to install this Transcend micro sdhc 8 GB memory card. I would have read the installation instructions, but my bionic eyes couldn't read the stupid instructions. So I inserted it properly...

You can only format a microSD card when it is unmounted. Unmounting a microSD card-To unmount a microSD card, follow the instructions below: [Menu] >Settings&tools>Press Ok key >SD card & phone storage(card memory)>Unmount SD card Formatting a microSD card>[Menu]>Settings&Tools>SD card & phone storage(card memory)>Format SD card.

After taking only two -three photo , camera is displaying memory full, please help me with this

Hello - You're camera has a little less than 10 MB of memory with sounds exactly right (2-3 photos) with a 12 megapixel camera. Such images are large.
You need to purchase a memory card to insert into your camera to store pictures. Your camera takes several kinds of memory cards but I suggest your purchase a SD memory card of two GB in size. You can get them almost anywhere, Super Markets, Chain Drug Stores, Places like Walmart, Kmart, etc. It'll cost about $15 or so.

Lg phone stopped reading SD card

Hi Archie Bald,

I know it's been 2 years, so I'm posting this for anyone with an LG.
Unfortunately, this is an ongoing problem with several of their models. To boot, cell phones in general seem to be produced today with a minimum of QC; models change so quickly, they really don't care about refining any one model. To make matters worse, I've owned several other LG products, 2 of which died on days 32 and 33 - after the return policy. Today none of my LG products work - indeed the longest lasting product got just over a year. While my experience may be bad luck, it's hard to call it that when it spans several of their products; indeed, some family members have had similar results. My current EnvTouch is my 5th swap-out. The longest lasting one was 34 days. Most people would say that at least the refurbs should be better... Not so for me, as 3 of them were refurbs. Touchscreen problems, sd card reader did what yours did, and the battery won't hold a charge overnight, and some genius engineer thought a quick-lock key combo wouldn't be necessary - so now it calls people in my case all by itself. IDIOTS. The p.o.s. is 6 months old.

Bottom line: RUN, don't walk - away from LG, forever and always... and remember that FTC Consumer Sentinel is your friend - file a complaint.
