My alarm clock keeps ringing at midnight. How can I stop this from happening?

you probably have it on "wake up cd track", in the front, press the wake 1, or wake 2 button (depending on what the alarm is set on) until the little bell is on the side, that should make it ring, louder and louder :)

Look at the display. Look for a number 1 or a number 2 to determine which alarm is on. If you see a number 1, push the 1 button on the top right side of the alarm clock until the number light goes off (1 or 2 times, depending on whether it is set to beep or radio alarm). When the number is not lit up, the alarm is off.

You must have more than one alarm setting and the second alarm is set for midnight. Turn the second one off.

You can try resetting your clock's settings every night and ensuring that you set the time one minute before midnight. This should prevent the buzzer from going off at midnight. If that doesn't work, try unplugging it for a few seconds and then plugging it back in to reset the clock. You could also try using a dedicated outlet for your clock, so nothing else is accidentally interfering with its timer setting. Finally, you could try replacing your current clock with a new one if none of these solutions work.

There could be a number of reasons for this happening. Does the clock run only on batteries or batteries and electricity? It could be the age of the clock. The way the clock has been taken care of and the type of environment it is in for example too much dust. If the clock runs on batteries, have the batteries ever leaked and been left in the clock? Take very fine sandpaper and very gently sand the contacts of the clock where the batteries go, dust with a small dry paintbrush and use good quality batteries.

Somehow the clock is displaying 24 hour time format. I want to get back to 12 hour format. How?

Push the mode button twice to enter the "set time" mode. Once the digital display is blinking, keep pushing "mode" until the PM display section in the upper left corner comes on. Once that happens you are back to the 12 hour clock. To set the clock, use the 1-4 buttons to set the hours and minutes.

How to use voice control feature of Braun 4760 alarm clock

Turn the alarm on, then when the alarm rings, just make a noise, say a word, grumble or clap hands and it will stop ringing for 8 minutes, then start again. If you need to yell louder to make it stop, that's an indication that the battery is going dead.

12 hour vs 24 hour read on clock

Push the "mode" button twice to enter the time change function. Once the display is blinking keep pushing the mode button until you see the "pm" icon on the LCD display. When that happens set the clock as you normally would using the 1-4 keys.

Remember to check if the 12 hour clock is set to AM or PM.

I am having the same problem. IT's so weird because I had owned the radio for many years before this ever happened for the first time? I unplugged it and this solved the problem for several months and again all of a sudden I am woken up every morning at 1 am. Any long term solutions?
