Honeywell wont turn heat on unless i do it manually

It has a tip-over safety switch that needs resetting according to this

Check the thermostat program and reprogram

Honeywell manuals are online for all its thermostats.
Google search your model number.
Model number is on back of thermostat.

Hi, Most all of the Honeywell t-stats have a temperature adjustment feature...also check the the cycle rate is the right one for your heating system... You will find all of this info in the manual for your t-stat...

It depends on your system some will only work with hot water on and heating do you have two zone valves?

Times set on thermostat does not turn on or off the heating or hot water at the set times, but any time of the day

Turn up your outside thermostat in the outside unit.
You should have about 3 degrees difference in one stage to the next. So I would change the thermosat with one that has three stages of heat.

Check how all three "on/off" sequences are programmed firsrt, then all other programmable options. Make sure sliders are in the sliders are in the correct possition. If it becomes more complicated than launching a space shuttle, reset it. Unless your house is a mansion keep it simple with just day and night modes. the money you save wont even cover the cost to fix the hole you punch in the wall trying to do fancy programming ;-D
