Hallmark Card Studio E-mailed Cards Not Reaching Recipients

How do you know it was not delivered - i.e., did the sender receive a return email notice that it was undeliverable or did the recipient receive anything at all? If it was sent and just disappeared, there may have been a problem with the email address. If an "undeliverable" notice was returned to the sender, there may have been a problem with the recipient's server, email program or virus software.

Outlook has several settings which prevent certain types of emails from being delivered or received. It attempts to block anything that looks like spam. For example, emails with too many attachments, certain types of extensions, large picture files, emails being sent out to too many people at a time, etc. Some of these setting can be changed, but some cannot. You don't say which version of Outlook you are using. If it has not worked when you are sending the card directly from the Hallmark program using Outlook as your default email program, you might try opening Outlook and creating an email from there and attaching the card.

The source of the problem could also be the virus software of the sender or the receiver.

I simply want to stop receiving unsolicited emails from Amazon. Cannot identify where on this reply site I can effect this. Searching this site using 'Unsubcribe to emails' has not led me to a...

Identifying Amazon E-mailFrom time to time, you might receive e-mails that look like they come from Amazon.com, but they are, in fact, falsified. Often these e-mails direct you to a Web site that looks similar to the Amazon.com Web site, where you might be asked to provide account information such as your e-mail address and password combination. Unfortunately, these false Web sites can steal your sensitive information; later, this information may be used to commit fraud. Some phishing messages contain potential viruses or malware that can detect passwords or sensitive data. We recommend that you install an anti-virus program and keep it updated at all times.
Below are some key points to look for in order to identify these e-mails:
1. Know what Amazon.com won't ask for
Amazon.com will never ask you for the following information in an e-mail communication:

  • Your social security number or tax identification number
  • Your credit card number, PIN number, or credit card security code (including "updates" to any of the above)
  • ***********'s maiden name
  • Your Amazon.com password

2. Requests to verify or confirm your account information
Amazon.com will not ask you to verify or confirm your Amazon.com account information by clicking on a link from an e-mail.
3. Attachments on suspicious e-mails
Amazon.com does not send order confirmations or other unsolicited requests that require you to open attachments, nor do we permit our merchants to do so. We recommend that you do not open any e-mail attachments from suspicious or unknown sources. If you receive a suspicious e-mail allegedly sent from Amazon.com that contains an attachment, we recommend you forward the e-mail to stop-spoofing@amazon.com (as an attachment if possible) without opening it. Delete the mail after you send it. If you opened an attachment in the e-mail, we recommend running anti-virus or anti-malware software.
4. Grammatical or typographical errors
Be on the lookout for poor grammar or typographical errors. Some phishing e-mails are translated from other languages or are sent without being proofread, and as a result, contain bad grammar or typographical errors.
5. Check the return address
Is the e-mail from Amazon.com? While phishers often send forged e-mail to make it look like it came from Amazon.com, you can sometimes determine whether or not it's authentic by checking the return address. If the "from" line of the e-mail looks like "amazon-security@hotmail.com" or "amazon-fraud@msn.com," or contains the name of another Internet service provider, you can be sure it is a fraudulent e-mail.
6. Check the Web site address
Genuine Amazon.com web sites are always hosted on the "amazon.com" domain--"http://www.amazon.com/. . . " (or "https://www.amazon.com/. . ."). Sometimes the link included in spoofed e-mails looks like a genuine Amazon.com address. You can check where it actually points to by hovering your mouse over the link--the actual Web site where it points to will be shown in the status bar at the bottom of your browser window or as a pop-up.
We never use a web address such as "http://security-amazon.com/. . ." or an IP address (string of numbers) followed by directories such as "http://123.456.789.123/amazon.com/. . . ."
Alternately, sometimes the spoofed e-mail is set up such that if you click anywhere on the text you are taken to the fraudulent Web site. Amazon.com will never send an e-mail that does this. If you accidentally click on such an e-mail and go to a spoofed Web site, do not enter any information and just close that browser window.
7. If an e-mail looks suspicious, go directly to the Amazon.com Web site
When in doubt, do not click the link included in an e-mail. Just go directly to www.amazon.com and click "Your Account" in the top right menu to view recent purchases, or review your account information. If you cannot access your account, or if you see anything suspicious, let us know right away.
8. Do not "unsubscribe"
Never follow any instructions contained in a forged e-mail that claim to provide a method for "unsubscribing." Many spammers use these "unsubscribe" processes to create a list of valid, working e-mail addresses.
9. Protect your account information
If you did click through from a spoofed or suspicious e-mail and you entered your Amazon.com account information you should immediately update your Amazon.com password. You can do this through Your Account by choosing the option to "Change your name, e-mail address, or password" found under Account Settings.
Even if someone has been able to look at your account, they are still not able to see your full credit card information. However, orders can be sent from your account using your credit card so please contact us immediately if you notice any orders that you do not recognize.
However, if you did submit your credit card number to the site linked to from the forged e-mail message, we advise that you take steps to protect your information. You may wish to contact your credit card company, for example, to notify them of this matter. Finally, you should delete that credit card from your Amazon.com account to prevent anyone from improperly regaining access to your account. To do so, click "Edit or delete a credit card" under Payment Settings in Your Account.
How To Report Phishing E-mails or Request Account Assistance
If you have received an e-mail you know is a forgery, or if you think you have been a victim of a phishing attack and you are concerned about your Amazon.com account, please let us know right away:
Report or Contact Us about a Phishing or Spoofed E-mail

NEED TO KNOW HOW TO PRINT MORE THAN 1 ENVELOPE AT A TIME. DO LETTERS AND ENVELOPES ONCE A WEEK BUT THE PRINTER WOULD ONLY PROCESS 1 ENVELOPE AT A TIME AND I HAD TO DO THAT ONE MANUALLY.

Hi there !

For printing bulky letters or documents of the same format, I suggest you use the MS word mail merge document. You need to set up the mail merge document and the data of the file. For examples, the list of names, addresses telephone numbers and others should be input to the envelops.

Here's how to create mail merge document file.

1. Open a new blank MS word document or if you have a format already in a MS word format, just use it as default letter.

2. Go to menu bars (Home, Insert, Page Layout, References, Mailing, Review and View) and choose Mailing.

3. From Mailing, click on select recipients, choose use existing lists and find the excel document files that stores all the information like list of customers, company names, addresses, telephone numbers and others.

4. Open it and select table will appear and just click ok to merge it automatically to your default envelope.

5. Now you need to set up or format your envelope. from the Mailing menu, Insert Mail Merge Field will appear and click it to display the headings of your data source. Put the headings wherever you want.

6. After that, press preview result to display the datas. Save your work and it is finished

I got a mail in which that say`s you won 8000000 rs and he sent also some batch & file numbers and winning certificate, what can i do.

IGNORE IT.... it's most likely a scam. This go on and on all the time....from pleas for help to inheritance claims.... One way that you can obviously tell is by looking at the e-mail addres where it came from. It will always be a yahoo, msn, hotmail, etc... not an official address. Right! so someone is going to be sending you an official email from a free e-mail account....
Then they ask you to respond quickly sending them your name, address, phone number, and sometimes your checking account and/or credit card numbers....

Hope this helps

Cannot access mail account on Wednesday Jan 27. I'll leave an alternate address, since I can't get beyond Yahoos sign-in page

I don't know why the problem of not being able to log into Yahoo email accounts exists, but you're not alone. If you know that the problem is not you entering an incorrect user name or password, there is a work-around to get into Yahoo mail. And, it takes less than 5 minutes to set it all up.

Every time I've recommended this solution to someone for their Yahoo Mail problem, it's worked.

The easiest way to sign into your Yahoo email account is to use Firefox as your browser and download the Webmail notifier add-on for Firefox.

With the click of a mouse, you'll be sent directly to your Yahoo email page without having to manually sign in to Yahoo.

Click here for Firefox download: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4490

To add Webmail Notifier it to your Firefox toolbar click here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/4490

1) After downloading and re-starting Firefox, right click in an empty area on your TOP toolbar in Firefox and select, 'Customize.' (A window with icons will open.)

2) Locate and drag the envelope icon to your upper toolbar and click, 'Done'.

3) Once the envelope is seated on the toolbar, right click on the envelope icon and choose, 'Options'. (A window will open.)

4) Select, Yahoo from the drop down menu.

5) Type in your full email address in the 'User Name' box.

6) Type in your Yahoo mail password in the password box.

7) Click, Add

8) Make sure 'Enable Login' is checked that the bottom.

9) Click, OK.

Now, when you want to go to your Yahoo email just click on the little envelope icon and you'll be sent straight to your email page in Yahoo.

- I forgot to add, the envelope will be gray when you don't have any unread emails, but turns yellow when you do.

If you've found this information helpful, please give me a big thumbs-up when you rate my answer. Thanks!

I inadvertently attempted to send a greeting card using an incomplete email address. Subsequently every attempt to email a card resulted in an error message that the card with the incomplete address was...

I have not tracked down what taman 2005 said. I would try "recalling" the message.
  1. Locate the Sent Items folder.
  2. Open the message that you want to recall or replace.
  3. Click Actions on the ribbon or menu, and then click Recall This Message.
  4. Enable the Delete unread copies of this message option to recall the message.
Check your inbox. Did you received a mail subsystem error message? If so, I would encourage you to delete both the message by which you attempted to send the card, delete it from the sent box of your mail account after you try the procedure above. And delete from your inbox any mail failure message related that refers to the term mail subsystem." Reboot. If this does not fix the problem, consider using an alternative email address to send the card.
