I have a scanner 5600/5650 UMAX , but it has been started problem since last one week and the scanning of document can not be possible give me solution

Some scanners have a locking lever, some have screws that lock . Look on the bottom of the scanner to see if there is an arrow pointing to the lock screw or a lever.

Scanner link failure

This scanner requires a "Parallel or Centronics" cable and if you have a newer computer, you may only have USB connections. A "USB to CENTRONICS" cable may do the trick, but I'm not sure. Check on the web for one.
