Sounds like you deleted something more essential using that cleansweep app, no real need for an app to delete stuff the old hold and drag to uninstall will work just fine with less chance of messing something up.
If I were you I would do a factory reset, since you didn't give any info about what kind of phone you have other than an android, I cant give you specific instructions, but usually the option will be under setting general backup and restore or about phone.
I would sync or click and drag the photos/info you want to save before doing so. Good luck.
