You could try opening up the idle/mixture screw another turn to make the transmission from idle to throttle better
governors just open the throttle butterfly according to the spring tension setting from the throttle lever

I HAVE A TROY BUIT SNOW BLOWER WITH A HUAYI CARB . IT WILL RUN ONLY AT HALF CHOKE .I HAVE CARB APART . CAN NOT GET FUEL METTERING JET OUT IAM SURE IT SCREWS OUT. HOW DO I GET IT OUT?

Why do you need to remove the jet

You can & should be blowing brakleen
& air thru all the holes

The fact you need the choke partially closed-- tells you something

Your creating higher air velocity,so check for a vacuum leak
(failed gasket) on intake side

May have a failed head gasket also

Troy-bilt 34322 343220110815 mower will not start

Dump out old gas. Fill with fresh gas. Always use Stabile in gas. Clean or replace park plug and air filter. Check oil level. All mowers have a low oil start cutoff. 30w oil. If any grey in oil moisture contaminated, dump out old oil and refill. Check fuel line for cracks or leaking. Check primer bulb for cracks, replace if required. Clean outside of carb with carb cleaner to ensure easy choke operation. Remove carb bowl from carb, ensure float hangs down freely. float down fuel flow, float up fuel flow stops. Check bowl screw for hole thru bolt, if so clean out hole.

I have a 1yo Yard Machine snowblower that idle surges.. I used it maybe 6 times last winter, cleaned it and parked it. Just took it out once again and now its surging.. I have changed the plug, topped off...

Your probem is the carb...it has some trash/debris in one of the fuel passages.
I highly recommend that you reclean and reset your float level.

Check your fuel filter, if you have one.
It may need replacement or cleaning.
Also check your fuel tank for debris/trash and clean it out if necessary.
If the mower/weedeater is over a year old, then I recommend that you buy
and install a new carburetor repair kit, because the diaphragm will get hard
and that will cause it to be hard to crank.
Sounds like you will need to clean the carburetor or replace your carburetor
internal rubber parts like the diaphgram and O rings.
Be sure to use compressed air to blow out all the fuel and air passages.
Be careful when blowing out the passages, because there are sometimes small
rubber type seats in the bottom of some of the passages.
Sometimes you can get by with priming the carburetor or using starting fluid
and letting it run a few times like that and it will flush the gunk out of
the jets, but most of the time you will need to rebuild the carburetor.
Keep in mind that the float for the carburetor must be level when you go to
reassemble the carburetor or follow the instructions you get with the
carburetor kit.
When you clean your carburetor and remove the jet screws, you will first need
to lightly seat the jet screws.
But before you lightly seat the jet screws count the number of turns it takes
to seat the jet screws from their original position.
Be sure to mark the turns down on a piece of paper.
That way when you put the jets back in, you know to lightly seat them first
and then turn them back out to their orginal position before you started.

Troy Built 6.0 HP stored for winter. Fired up and

Most definitely. You aren't getting enough gas, probably because the float valve is gummed up. Drain the gas, put in a little carb cleaner and a little fresh gas. Fire it up. Do that a couple of time if needed, then fill tank with fresh gas. Use a gas stabilizer like Sea Foam to prevent this.

I have a tecumseh 5.5hp LH195sp-67514 engine on my snowblower

Hey mate,

First of all check all your fuel lines from your tank to your carb for cracks, with the carb it is common on these to leak past the needle and seat in the carb, I would remove the float and try clean up the needle and seat first, then if that doesnt work you should be able to purchase the needle and seat as a spare part and not have to replace the whole carb...

Most times this problem can be rectified with a quick clean up of the needle and seat as there could be some forign matter or debris under it, be sure to reset the float level/seat turn the carb upside down a check that the float is sitting level or parallell with the carb body...

Hope this helps

Troy bilt lawnmower not starting

In most cases it's not enough to just dump the gas out of the float bowl. The problem is that the gas has turned to varnish and varnish is sticky. It will put a nice coating over all the the interior of the carb. The only way to clean it is to dismantle it completely. This means removing the float bowl and float. Along with the needle. The important thing is that both the float and needle move freely and both the high and low idle screws are clean. Depending on the type of fuel filter you may also need to remove and clean it as well. If it is not an inline filter it most likely is located inside the tank. As long as your careful not to tear the float bowl gasket you shouldn't require a rebuild kit for the carb.
Hope this helps.

on the bottom of the carb. is a bolt that holds the float bowl on. remove that bolt and float bowl. use a small needle and stick it in the holes on the bolt to clean them out. look at the gas in the float bowl to make sure there is no water in the fuel tank .
