Ground wire loose, and make sure your constant 12v fromm the battery, and last but not least your on and off remote wire coming from the head unit, it turns the amp only when stereo is on.. if all those wires check out then your RCA cables got cut or mangle, make sure your speaker wires are connected right , the woofer should blow outwards no inward, if inward your negative and pos canles are backwards.

Yamaha xt 125 rear brake light not working

Hi, Anonymous before diagnosing any brake light issue always check the bulb and fuse first for integrity a brake light staying on is usually caused by the front brake light switch, which is mechanical, not disengaging. On early models moving the throttle control housing closer to the front brake master cylinder is the main fix. On late models, the switch gets tweaked and needs to be realigned. A brake light that does not come on when the brake lever is applied can be caused by a faulty switch or no continuity in the wiring at the switch. The rear brake light switch is hydraulic and it is extremely rare to malfunction in a closed circuit condition causing the brake light to stay on. Usually, rear brake light switch issues are caused by no brake pedal free play or a sticky rear master cylinder piston. A brake light that does not come on when the rear brake pedal is depressed can be caused by a faulty switch, air contamination in the brake line, or no continuity in the wiring at the switch. My truck keeps blowing fuses in my power wire like its grounded out. i have re-done everything and it still does the same thing

It may not be the wiring, it could be the amp itself. If you are completely confident the power wire is not grounded the following test will confirm it. If it is grounded you will be out another fuse. Disconnect the power wire from the amp. Tape or cap off so it doesn't accidentally touch metal. Replace your fuse (take a part the fuse holder if you can and use a small cheap fuse.) If it is grounded the fuse will pop. If it doesn't pop, the problem is in the amp or improper wiring at the amp.

Wanting to wire 2 dual 4ohm speakers to the amp do i use 1 channel or both?

Hi, the amp is stable down to 1 ohm per channel, so use both channels--one per speaker.

The protection light wont go off when hook it up

Remove off the speaker and check if the protection light changes, if so the speakers are short by themselves or to the body.correcct and check.
However if there is still no difference then the amplifier output is short. you will need to check for short in one of the stages and change.

Need to pick perfect amp

I suggest to use separate amps to your sub, get a 2 channel amp for your sub and 4 channel amps for your speakers.
