click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I would try a badwidth test. You can google search broadband test and pick one of them depending upon your connection. This defintely sounds like a lack of badwidth problem.

Old majic jack want to start new program

If you have an old Magic Jack, my 4 unit are 6 years old the company just really wants you to upgrade to a newer product no need to. Try removing Magic Jack completely from your tablet, restart unit, make sure to clean out all junk on tablet from Magic Jack you could try a program that cleans your tablet for you, but unless you know what to remove don't get technical just a standard clean up of old files, this is usually under apps, Magic Jack, then there will be a clear cash button, clear data, and uninstall.
Restart unit then do a fresh install of Magic Jacks new app for your type of tablet from Googles sight or Magic Jacks make sure if you have a Mac to install the Mac App and if you have an android tablet you install the Android App. This has been working for me. With the old Magic Jack you will need to do a fresh install when you get errors and crashes. I do it 2 or 3 times a year. Good Luck!!

Hi this is dan morgan my prob is that there is a voice breakage prob with my magic jack m not able to understand is it because of internet connection or because of IP. I'm having a net connection...

hi Dan,
your IP is either there or not.. so static doesn't matter. in most cases magicjack requires at least 2 gigs of memory (they claim much less) and the system can't be in heavy use during calls. most of us setup independant laptops as our magic jack phone systems. if you aren't dedicating a system to this function then the user usage will impact the call.
check your system resources as it is the most likley to cause your calls to sound bad.

hope this helps

Static

If the telephone line itself is static-free, connect a normal telephone to the same jack that the answering machine uses. If all calls are static-free, you've cleared the wiring and the telephone service provider. Next, plug the telephone into the jack on the back of the answering machine. If all calls are clean, but messages are still loaded with static, then we may be talking about a bad answering machine. If you have DSL service, make sure that there is a filter installed between the wall jack and the cord that goes to the answering machine.

We have a lot of static and it says we have new voicemail but we are unable to asccess it

You need to determine if the static is incoming from your service drop, the wires going into a usually grey box mounted on your house. You can open the box yourself and unplug your house from the modular jack then with a phone from your house plug it into the jack and go off hook and if the dial tone is clear you have a problem in your house.A corroded jack is the usual problem. If you cannot open the box on your house call the phone company and have them isolate it up to your house. If they determine the problem is in your house they will charge you a hefty fee to fix it.If it is on the service wire they have to fix it for no charge.Once the static is clear you should be able to retrive voice mail. tk46
