Question about Nortel T7316E 2-Line Corded Phone
Former employee left without leaving password for VM. Have tried re-setting password using Feature 983, Log: 1020000 (our ext are 3 digits). But for some reason 1020000 is now an "invalid password"
If I try resetting with RESETSMPSWD (73738767793), what EXACTLY am I resetting? Will the administration password really go back to being 1020000? Am I really just resetting only the password for getting into administration? Will it affect other employees' individual passwords or mailboxes? I'm a little hesitant - how big and bad is the 73738767793? What will it do and not do?
It's really simple.
enter Feature 985 then 9 and spell out RESETSMPSWD (73738767793) and then YES. That's it. it should go back to the original one. if your extension are 3 digits should be 1020000 and so on.
