Iphone5 will not rotate but the rotation is turned on in control center. How can I get it to rotate/

First try turning rotate off and turning the phone off and restarting, then turning rotate on again. If that doesn't make it rotate, reboot your phone (Hold power and function buttons simultaneously until it shuts down) and restart it. If that still doesn't fix the rotate function, you might have to backup and restore your phone.

Apple has detailed instructions on their web site for doing a restore for your version of iOS. Just go to http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/ and click on iPhone Essentials.

Htc one s won't auto rotate

Hi,
I have the HTC One S too, and just got my screen rotation problem solved. It wasn't rotating either, even though auto rotation was checked, it was stuck in landscape mode. Then, I uninstalled a few apps that I didnt think were needed anymore, like a game, pixlr express, tango, and a dictionary app.. after that I cleaned the app cache and problem was solved without even restarting. I'm not sure why that worked, but you can try and see it if works for you. I hope it works :)

My nokia 5800 motion sensor aint working. may i know from where to dowanload the motion sensor software.thank you!

Hello, road_to_dest. Thanks for your question.
If your phone used to auto-rotate, and no longer does after the update, please try the following.
1) Go to Settings 2) Go to Phone Sensor Settings 3) Go to Turning Control and and uncheck "Auto Rotate Display". 4) Reboot your phone 5) Go back to the "Auto Rotate Display" setting, and check it back on.
If the phone's display still does not rotate, your auto-rotation sensor may be broken, and this is, unfortunately, unfixable.
Best of luck to you! =)

Screen won't rotate when I slide it open to text

i had the same problem...this is what you do. u check to see if you have a magnetic phone case or if ur phone has been exposed to any magnets. idk why but magnets mess up the screen rotation. all u have to do is take a magnet and pass over the phone once and it should go back to normal. but dont ever expose the phone to any magnets.
hope this helps .
thanks.

Screen wont rotate on my lg xenon when i slide out the keyboard

I just got my phone today and had the same problem. I figured that on the way over, something magnetic messed up the polarity of the magnet that snaps the slider back into place. It's used to sense the orientation of the phone so that it can rotate the screen.

All I did was take a regular magnet, slide out the slider and run/rub the magnet over the back of the slider...watch the screen; it'll magically rotate and right itself. Very cool. Physics once again saves the day:D

Have a 06 Mazda Tribute S V6 4WD, with 35K miles on it. The problem is serious tire cupping. The dealer claims it is due to tires not being rotated. Funny thing, they were rotated every 6K miles per the...

cupping is caused by poorly acting shockabsorbers probably have leaking from the shock struts and may need replacement. sounds a bit early for wear at 50k
