The reason for your washing machine not to spin would be of a faulty motor coupling.
If the washer will fill and drain, but won't agitate or spin, you may have a broken motor coupling. The noise of the motor engaging, lack of agitation and ability to still drain are the usual symptoms. This is a common fail item with this model washer through normal wear and tear. Newer versions of the coupler are more resilient and resist breaking
The motor coupling is located between the drive motor and the transmission and takes the place of a drive belt. They do wear out and can break. The replacement part number is included in the link I provided and is an improved upgraded coupling that is more resilient. It should last longer. If you have questions, or require additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.
A replacement coupler can be purchased on line at appliancepartspros.com for about $11. Just use the part number in the link and "Search by Part Number" for your search criteria.

I found that in winter time not a problem with my LG front loader, but when the temperature went over 30 Celsius the problem came back and intermittent like yours did, there was also an unusual noise coming from the machine.
What I did to fix the problem was to remove the stator and place it in the freezer for about half an hour or so, I also cleaned any minor dust and grit from both the Stator magnets and the Stator drum, replaced it still very cold and now it works well with no more unusual noise and the outside temperature has no more bearing on the machine not spinning this day!
I hope this helps!

Hi from retired Englishman in SW France,
'LE' on LG's indicates Lock Error indicating there is a problem with the door lock. Either the locking solenoid or the door lock sensor is malfunctioning and requires attention.
Hope this helps ;-0)

SOURCE: I have an elite oasis
The dreaded fault codes F50 and F51 on these machines including its Whirlpool and Maytag counterparts Cabrio and Bravos, respectively, are found to be due to an intermittent connection at the Rotor Position Sensor (RPS). The early batch of these machines are installed with a machine/motor control board that is too sensitive to intermittent RPS connections. Recent batches are equipped new control that is designed to check the RPS sensor differently and is less sensitive to intermittent RPS connections.
Remove and reinstall the connector at the RPS several times to clean off any corrosion built up on the connector and RPS due to the intermittent connection. Confirm that the connector is fully seated onto the RPS control upon final connection and verify there are no damaged wires. If the problem persists, knowing that the RPS is good based on the manual motor and RPS diagnostic test, the problem now is between the control board and the motor. Measure the resistance between any two of the three drive motor terminals with the ohmmeter set to the R x 1 scale. The meter should indicate around 31 ohms in each of the three motor windings. Significant difference in the winding resistances indicates a motor stator problem. Consider replacing the control board ONLY after making the above troubleshooting and the RPS and motor turn out good.
