The right of the pad. my gf tripped & fell on it.
It sounds like the trackpad is damaged to the point where it will not work normally again. Your best bet to getting it fixed is if it is still under warantee to call tech support and say the trackpad isn't working anymore, but neglect to mention why. They will not fix it for you if it was damaged by you, but if they think it was simply a hardware failure and it's still under warantee the repair should be free for you.
