Question about Jenn-Air SVE47100 Slide-In Electric Kitchen Range

JENN-AIR Oven shuts off and comes back on after several minutes

My Jenn-Air oven will heat up and work fine for a period of 30 minutes or so and will all of the sudden shut down. During the time the oven is shut down, the range top works fine. WHile it is shut down, none of the buttons on the front of the oven work and the display is blank. After a few minutes, the whole oven comes back on along with the fan. It will stay on for another 10 minutes or so and shut off again.

THe cable running to the fan appears to be connected fine as do all other visible plugs.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Dan

Electric stove works, oven turns on briefly then shuts down

Try turning off the power at the switch again and leave it off for a little while, sometimes the microprocessors become confused and need time to re adjust.

Jenn-Air oven shuts down after FC and F5 errors

Their was a good possibility that the solder could have been lifting of the contact points on the board, if the symptoms return i would check this, along with the said cleaning method :)

Re: Jenn Air #svd48600b Gas Stove Top works... Oven and Broiler not working(Elec.) I replaced Electronic oven control assy...It works correctly, but never gets Hot!! Any ideas??

Having a problem with the stove on this Jenn Air svd48600b.
Often with the oven warms up to 350F it starts beeping at and shuts off.
It flashes either just an FC error code, or FC and F5.

It is often possible to get the oven to work again if you wait 10-15min and cycle the power.

I imagine something is wrong with a heat sensor? The temperature sensor responsible for displaying temperature on the control panel seems fine though.

One other detail, even when the oven doesn't shut off at hot temperatures, the fan comes on (at around 220F) and stays on for over an hour after the oven is turned off.

Does anyone know if there is a different temperature sensor that might cause this? Is there a specific electronics board that may be leading to this problem.
when it heats up.

I have a jenn air oven and stove top. the

Just a suggestion, turn the breaker off to the range and leave off for 30 secs. This may reset the board. That's the easy way. If that doesn't help I'll try to find more on it.

I was broiling on jenn-air convention oven on high about 30 minutes came back oven had turned itself off seem like it was overheated wouldn't allow you to do anything else

On this model there is a blower fan or cooling fan located between the cooktop and the oven. When oven temps reach @ 550 deg this fan should turn on to keep the controls cool. If it did not come on, you may have a bad fan thermostat or a bad fan. What happened is the control overheated and shut down on you.

it sounds like the clock on the oven has been adjusted, if the clock has been adjust the fan will continue to "Cool Down" the oven for the period set on the clock, it is also a possibility tht the clock is faulty, is the clock digital or Analouge

Jenn air s136 stove won,t self clean

You've probably already read pages 34 through 37 of the owners manual for this oven. We had this stove in the house we bought and the owner wrote in his own directions, which seem to work fine:

1. Turn knob selector to clean.
2. Turn temp knob to clean.
3. Close and lock door.
4. Push enter button and turn dial clockwise to desired time.
5. Push enter button again.

You've probably already tried this, but just in case I figured I'd pass it along.
