Go to Calling, then 0 (Common setting), 4 (Answer Mode) and there you can select to answer by pressing any keys, the "send" key or just by sliding up.

yes this is the problem that exists nokia slide phones.. ti had the same problem .. when i gave to nokia service center. they set the keypad and gave it.. but it started malfunctioning in few days.. my suggestion is not to waste money in fixing it.just use the left button and press answer to attend and make calls...

you need to recalibrate the proximity sensor. this is what stops you from pushing buttons when you are in a call ect. to do this go to main menu > phone settings > proximity calibration. from here you can recalibrate the screen which should fix the problem

Had the same issue.
It is the proximty sensor which needs
to be re-calibrated.
It was a little while ago now.
Can't remember the phone number you need
to call to re-calibrate.

If you have a screen protector on, the proximity sensor is covered by the screen protector. The sensor is locate on top left of the screen next to the inner camera. Cut of the piece of screen protector and it should solve the problem.
