Call your local utility for this info, as this also depends on the gas line pressure not just the line diameter.

SOURCE: can i convert my dyna glo 75000 btu propane

I'm sure you can, contact the manufacturer and ask if they have a natural gas jet or orfice for your model heater, these are usually very easy to replace.

SOURCE: I have a mr. heater big maxx. It is a 75000 btu

the vent pressure switch will have a rubber type hose off it to the combustion fan housing. pull the hose off and poke the conector with a paper cilp or wire to make sure it is not plugged at the housing. make sure the vent fan is running and jumper the switch if it comes on replace the switch if not look else where for your problem.a volt meter is a great tool . voltage across a switch means it is open and no voltage means its colsed. i should say to also check your venting as it maybe blocked. there is no reset

How do you determine if a pool heater runs on Natural gas or propane

It should say on the tag inside the cabinet, or on the gas valve. Another indicator is that natural gas typically is fed through a 3/4" galvanized pipe, LP is often run through a 1/2" copper pipe. Be sure before trying to fire it up.

I have a mr heater 75000 with a 4 flash blink code. the heater is brand new, only worked for 3 days. i have bypassed the 2 switches but still cant clear the 4 flash blink code.

According to the Owners/Installation Manual, the 4 flash blink code indicates that the High Limit or Roll Out Switch is open. This may be caused by a venting problem or high altitude operation. make sure you have the proper pressure to the heater's regulator. For Natural Gas it must be a continuous 7 water column inches.

For further information, I have included a link to your Owners Manual that you can download and print, for future reference. http://www.mrheater.com/upload/newsletter/MHU_HSU_CUH_60016_BL.pdf

Hope this helped to solve your problem.

As soon as i hook up the thermostate it flashes the 3 flashes code and i have already tryed a new thermostate .... as soon as i unhook the thermostate it flashes for normal operation with no call for heat...

Try using it without the thermostat, tie the two thermostat wires together or put a jumper between
r and w. If furnace operates, you must have wrong style of thermostat

Vent free wall heater starves for gas

The 3/4 pipe will provide enough gas provided that it does not have a lot of elbows in the run. The more elbows you have, the less gas you have at the end of the run.

I recommend that you call the company which provides you with the gas and have them come out and look at your problem. They will be able to analyze your situatioin and make a recommendation to you. This is a free service. Good luck with it.
