SOURCE: Sony PS-LX250H turntable won't turn

I have the same trouble so I gave it a push and after manually spinning the table and then putting through it's sequence a few times it worked fine!....but now it's started to run at a speed half way between 33 and 45rpm. To see if its just a stuck motor, remove the table lift the arm move it over so it's trying to drive then just rotate the pulley clockwise between finger and thumb.

SOURCE: Technics sl-1610 mk 2 turntable

OK. Whoever stated that the Technics SL-1610MK2 is direct drive, probably did not notice the "belt" being sold for only $14.90 online. If this belt is being sold, there is a strong possiblility that this turntable is belt driven, so maybe the belt just slipped off or busted. order a belt and replace. Good Luck.

SOURCE: turntable spins to fast

The motors are a common problem with this
model! Replace it to correct but I suspect the
motor regulator ic which is not avalible is the
real problem!

Rockola 442 turn table turns to slow

Not familiar with this model but if it is belt driven, replace the belt. If it is not belt drive then there is a voltage regulation problem. Check for fault capacitors first and work on from there. If you can find a manual online this will assist in the fault finding as voltage reference points will be indicated on the schematic. Good luck. Cheers

My turn table is going to fast when i play an record , what can i do to fix this? thanks

Hello the turn table has two speeds. 45rpm and 33rpm (rotations per minute) If you are playing a record that takes up the entire turntable you need to set it on 33rpm. For the records that only take up half of the turntable you want to set it on 45rpm. Setting the turntable on the wrong setting for a certain size record can make the record play to fast of to slow.

Turntable is slow, especially noticable on 33 1/3 rpm

hi,
your turn table is a belt driven one. The speed turns down when the belt become expanded. you should replace the belt of your turn table. Also put some lubricant in its center shaft ( not from the top lubricate it slightly after removing the plater).

I have here added some video related to the replacement of belt for turntables.
Not the exact for your one,for all the belt driven turntable the procedure is the same
ok

I have not used it in a long time seems like the speed is wrong when i put it on 33/1/3 plays slow when i put on 45 it much better playing the 33

Good day. It sounds to me like the belt is worn. Under the felt of the turning section, there should be two rather large holes. Insert your thumb and forefinger and pull the table off. You should also see where the existing belt is running. Insert new belt around the motor first and replace the table section. Now, through the two holes, manouver the belt onto the table section until it spins freely

One of my DJ turntables = only left side stereo sound

need to narrow it down, using 1 turn table ONLY with the mixer on channel 1 (the chanel that is working) to test reciever is working properly and sound working on both side of the speakers, this eliminate the first turn table. Next, disconnect the working turn table (1) and connect your second turn table to the same chanel and see if you getting the sound coming chanel 1 just as your first turn table did. If you getting sound coming out from turn table on ch1 than is not the turn table issue. It will be you mixer having problems. You cant solve the problems having everything connected. Testing one turn table at a time using working chanel on the mixer to see if both turn table working properly. If you use the same chanel testing both turn table and the second one does not work than it will be one of your turn table is faulty. Note: if you find and test both of your turn table is working properly than it will be your mixer. good luck and hope that help..
