Question about Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

When switching on my reversible air heater pump. The fuze blew very quickly. Since then, each time I turn on the power, after a few seconds and before the external unit activates, the fuze blows.

The air heater is an Aircon (French made) double unit having one blower and control unit fitted high on the living room wall, and the compressor/fan unit fitted on the ground outside. Model number is TAC-18CHSA/H ref: 405595.

Thank you Thomas. Your assumption coincides exactly with another on-line oracle. So I think that this is the problem exactly. :-)

Replace pressure switch. If you blow any air into the pressure switch it has been damaged, check air ports for debris by looking never ,never blow on air switch they work on a very small pressure or vaccum, where your breath is to much pressure and also loaded with unwanted humidity.

My Sansa Fuze 4gb wont turn on and isnt being recognized by my computer, iv also tried to soft reset it many times , nothing seems to work.. help plz..

I've had the same problem with my Sansa Fuze 2GB. It's pretty frustrating, but in order to get it to work, I let it sit without touching it or doing anything with it for a few days. For 2-5 days, do not turn on your Sansa Fuze. After the amount of time has passed, try the soft reset again.

Air suspension is dead on the ground fuse is good will not raise?

Check the suspension switch on the trunk, I think is on the driver side, something should happen if you turn it on/off.

Power steering hose blew

Generally it should work it's way out by itself, but you can remove air by turning the wheels all the way in one direction (hold it there a few seconds) then repeat in other direction...check fluid level and that's all. If noise lasts more than a few hours, then pump has sustained some damage.

OVER HEATING

In the fan circuit...You have a temp switch screwed on the radiator, a fuze and a relay in the fuze box plus a fan.  Swap the relay with another relay, replace the fuze.  The other fan should come on when the a/c is turned on.  If you fix the fans and it still overheats, you may have a BLOWN HEAD GASKET.  ALSO ARE YOU BLEEDING THE AIR FROM THE SYSTEM?  DO YOU SMELL EXHAUST IN THE COOLANT?

Heat pump that just blows cool air

is the condenser operating? what is the outdoor temperature? A heat pump is a cooling system with a reverse gear, most reversing valves which make this possible fail to the heat mode so it is not likely to be the problem. You should have either gas or electric back-up heat. If you switch to emergency heat do you get warm air? Really need to find out more to make an informed guess at your problem, the simple stupid would be is the circuit breaker to the condensing unit possibly tripped or shut off?
