Use a computer to rip your CD's Then copy them to a memory stick. Then you can plug the memory stick in and copy the files to the hard drive that way. Each files takes about 5-10 seconds. Hope that helps

Try changing the mode on the device.
Settings>Mode or USB Mode
The reconnect it to your PC and check again.
