I had the same problem and finally found my manual. Here's what to do, everyone!

1. Take back panel off the sending unit, where the three batteries are, by unscrewing the 4 phillips head screws (assuming you, like I, had put the screws back in after installing new batteries). You will see a little gray button in a hole above where the batteries are; the little button is one you can push down with the same phillips screwdriver you took the 4 screws out with - don't do this yet.

2. Now, hold down the "channel" button on front of receiver panel for 2 sec, until the dash in the "ch" box and the place where the temp is supposed to be starts blinking.

3. Now, while these indicia are blinking on the panel, push the little gray button down and hold it for 2 seconds. This causes the transmitter to "register" with the receiver. You should now see a 1 in the "ch" box and get a temp reading.

4. Put screws back on, put receiver where you want it, proceed with rest of your life.

SOURCE: USA - EUrope FM band stations frequency differences

I have a car stereo purchased from the US and I can’t pick up all radio stations in Europe/UK, what can I do?
If you have purchased a car stereo from the US you will find that it will not pick up many European radio stations. This is due to the fact that US radio frequency steps are different to here in Europe.
You may be able to set the tuner to European stations by following this procedure.
Press and hold down the SRC button to power down the unit completely.
While the unit is off press button 1 & 5 together, while momentarily pressing the SRC button.
If this does not work try the following proceedure;
Press and hold buttons 1 and 5 together, while momentarily pressing the reset button.
If this does not work then the unit is not designed to pick up European frequency steps.

SOURCE: Sharp Weather Station Model SPC344 The outside

After inserting the batteries, DO NOT set the time until the OUTSIDE temperature registers. That's the trick.

How do you get the cobra walkie talkie to say the weather

Provided that your 2-way radio has the feature, there should be either a dedicated weather button or somewhere in the menus. Not sure what model you have. If it is a more advanced radio where you can set the frequency, the list of weather broadcast frequencies taken from NOAA are listed below. Two way radios are normally automatically programmed to one of these frequencies and usually require a push of a button.

My outside temperature and humidity sensor appears to have failed. I'd like to buy a replacement. 433 MHz. The system is WS-7395U. Please advise price. taylor.norman1@gmail.

The WS-7395U uses the La Crosse TX8U outdoor temperature and humidity sensor. That part has a $49.99 MSRP. It is $46.95 from La Crosse; see http://www.lacrossetechnology.com/tx8/index.php to order the part. Other vendors that I checked do not have the sensor in stock for sale separately.

I hope this helps.

WEATHER STATION AC100MB stops transmitting outdoor temp

I have experienced the same with numerous different, "quote un quote" atomic clocks! Please don't forget that this sender unit, that goes outside, generates a RF Singal to be received by the clock inside. This unit transmits a signal 433 MHz signal approximately every. 3 minutes, and after so many years the sender unit's RF section(electronics) just goes out or no longer function properly or not at all! The transmitter/sender for this model number, according to "3M" is obsolete and can no longer be furnished, DRATTS !!!!!
