The problem is the drive belts, they deteriorate from the Ozone and use and stretch, this causes slipping and that is what is causing your problem, there are at least 2 and I think three, you can order them by size and type at kenselectronics.com, the web site page is here
U can also try ebay for belts, I have bought belt kits there for a few units I have repaired, much easier if they come in a kit.
