I have a new trane system - thermostat makes an annoying clicking sound every 10-15 minutes -

Sorry to say, that annoying clicking sound is the thermostat calling for cooling/heat. Whenever the temperature is reached it will "click" off and then "click" back on when needed. Some thermostats are quieter, but all digital thermostats will have that sound. Sorry again and I hope this answers your question!

Thermostat is making a clicking sound, eveything on display is lit up.

If the thermostat has a display and making a clicking sound, that sounds like the thermostat is working.

If your thermostat has batteries, then its most likely your batteries that are keeping the display lit.

You can try removing and replacing the batteries first. Also, check all your breakers. If these two steps fail and the system is not functioning, then you have a problem somewhere.

Doesn't cool

Check your thermostat setting. the clicking sound is probably the compressor un-loading.

If you set the thermostat higher, the compressor will not turn off too soon.
