SOURCE: Sony KP53HS30 Stuck in Sleep Stand by

I don't believe it is stuck in the sleep standby mode, rather it has shutdown with an error. Is there a pattern to the flashing? Does it flash a set number of times?

You could try these two suggestions from HP support. The semi-full reset will affect quite a few settings. Perhaps you should copy down these settings for reference later.

SOURCE: monitor is sleep mode how

You can move the mouse or press the keyboard keys.

If this happens in the middle of using the computer than either your video card drivers are damaged, video card is damaged, monitor is failing, connection (wire) to the monitor is damaged or not connected correctly.

Why and how does my fitbit flex go into "sleep mode?"

You can enter or leave the "Sleep mode" by tapping the Flex rapidly for 1-2 seconds. You'll feel a vibration and the LEDs will blink. (The blinks will depend on if you are entering or leaving sleep mode.) In this mode, the Fitbit Flex reduces the LED intensity and doesn't give alerts. Afterwards, it will provide some data about your sleep pattern - length, movement, waking up during the night. This can help you determine the quality of your sleep. (Note: it isn't a replacement for consulting a doctor if you always wake up tired.)

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(You can manually enter your sleep and wake times into the app without using "Sleep mode". Then the app will use the movement data from the Flex to determine sleep quality. However, LED lights (primarily blue frequencies) are known to reduce sleep quality so dimming them helps most people sleep better. The alerts will also interrupt your sleep and reduce the quality.)

My screen symtoms are a little different on my L1975NW.

I am guessing the LED power indicator blinks green then becomes steady when the screen "turns on" (shows video). The problem is most likely a failing backlight power supply. That's why there is a 30 minute delay. Try to disable sleep mode and see whether that helps.

Hi I have a sony KV-ES34M31 -- I pressed the sleep button by mistake it won/t come out of that mode. 2 blinks in a 3 sec period.

The main power supply regulator board has damaged. The fault you see as two blinks are its indication.

Sleep mode is blinking. i cannot restart

Have you tried holding the power button for a few seconds till it restart. If that does not work try removing the battery. Once you get it started go to power options and turn off sleep mode and hybrid sleep under advanced settings.
Thanks for using FixYa

I have software that I want to run for many hours or days. The program runs for less than an hour and stops with the second light on the front blinking. How can I keep a program running for as long as...

If your computer is doing this, I would have to guess that it's going into sleep or hibernate mode.
To disable sleep or hibernate mode, go to your control panel, then mobility settings and just disable it within that area.

MFC-7840w printer, how do i take it off sleep mode?

  • The control panel features a series of buttons as well as an LED "Status" screen.

  • Press the "MENU" button. Go to INITIAL SETUP, select "FAX" select "RECEIVE MODE" change to F/T
  • If you are using the Brother on a line by itself, set it to "Fax." If you are using the Brother on a line that also shares a telephone, set it to "Fax/Telephone." If you are using the Brother IntelliFax along with ananswering machine, set it to "TAD." Once you set your IntelliFax to the appropriate mode, the unit will leave "Sleep" mode and be ready for use.
  • Select "GENERAL SETUP" go to "ECOLOGY" and #2 is SLEEP TIME = adjust to 60 sec. This keeps the machine from becoming idle/sleep mode for a longer period.

I pressed the sleep button by accident and the pic and sound went off and the stand by/timer red light started blinking. what does it mean?

Depends on how many times it blinks, just count the blinks Example: if it blink 2 times then pauses and blink 5 times then the code would be 25 and so on

Once you have this code, please post it.

    Sidekick Display Issues!

The trackball will blink green when the sidekick is in sleep mode, to let you know that it is still on just saving battery. I personally think it gets pretty annoying after awhile.. Also if it blinks blue while in sleep mode it means you have a new text, email, alert, etc. The only time the trackball doesnt blink green is when you are using it. Hope this helped!

Laptop apprears to go into sleep mode while I'm using it

To my knowledge it could be hibernate mode for laptops to save battery life when not plugged into the wall, try pressing the power button, my Compaq did that too. Also don't hold down the power button as after 5 seconds it just shuts off the laptop, unless you wanna do that.
