1. Unlock your phone.
2. Exit out of anything you may be currently in, so that you are looking at your home screen and icons.
3. Touch Apps.
4. Scroll to and touch Settings.
5. scroll to and touch Security.
6. Touch Screen Lock.
7. Touch Password.
8. Enter a password.
9. Touch Continue.
10. Re-enter the password to confirm it.
11. Touch OK.
