USED MAGIC CHEF CHATEAU ELECTRIC DOUBLE OVEN. Need to but a used oven at reasonable prices

Hello Kym....I know you may want to try this yourself...BUT...an electric oven is a high voltage device..usually 220 volts...and if you are not equipped to directly connect this....PLEASE have this done by a professional....Don't try this...This is not a novice...do it yourself project...I hope this was helpful.......PEACE....

sounds like the main gas line to the oven was shut off. you need to locate the line and look for the valve and turn in on.

You can get parts from them.

The serial number for a built in wall oven from that era would be something like this : 11-6361-30/123

Electrolux's parts number is 800 599 7569. (Phone number)

If the oven needs replacing, Sears, Magic Chef, and Whirlpool offer something in this size range. (You need to measure the dimensions.)

You may need to "google" "O'Keefe & Merritt electric oven repair" plus your location. Electrolux's service department might provide a contact.

Hi,look in the control console for the tech sheet or under the top of the unit.A good place to start.Hope this helped.

f1 indicates a shorted touch pad ,if you want to make sure ,unplug unit ,disconnect touch pad from computer board ,if f1 goes away touch pad is bad.if not replace board

check the high limit swtich. You need to remove the back of unit to find it. replaced it part# is:w10175596
