My laminator won't turn on I've only used it about a dozen times

Most of the time you can be able to pull out the stuck film off of the laminator with your hands but try not to apply way too much force.In case your laminator doesn't have a jam release button at all or for some reason, it's not working try the reverse button to run the rollers in the opposite direction then pull out the film gently.

Does the machine make any noise at all when you push the Start button? In other words does it sound like a motor is turning somewhere or is the machine completely silent?

We have an Ulitma 65 and it won't heat up...Any suggestions on how to fix this? We are at a school and no $ to replace the whole unit. Thanks in advance.

either the top or lower heater shoe TCO is blown out. take the right side cover off, trace the wires back to the heat shoe and check for continuity, (unplug machine first) find out which TCO is blown order another one, replace it and your off to the races. I've fixed many of them.

A laminator is a tool used to plastic coat documents to protect them. Your social security card may have a laminate coating.

it is possible that one of the three are going out on the computer, motherboard, harddrive, power supply, only a computer tech could tell which one.

Really!....you've dropped your camera "countless" other times and now you're concerned because this time, it won't turn on!!! You're not sure what else to do?!!! How about not dropping your camera. How about using the wrist strap. Your dropping luck has run out...your camera does not have nine lives.

Is the test card meant to the laminator heated?

If so, you should be able to set the laminator time out from 30 minutes to 5 hours.

This is done through the front panel under the configuration menu.
