How to remove rubber seals from inside moen 1225 faucet body

Make a cutter from the old cartridge. Cut some slots in the base that normally sits on the seal. Use a hacksaw or grinderette.
Clean up with a file to prevent damage to the sealing face. Insert the old cartridge back and give it a few gentle turns with minimum pressure. Remove 'cutter' and flush out debris.

Just replaced the cartridge in a Moen single handled kitchen faucet with a 1225 cartridge. The old one was leaking at the top of the stem. Now I get warm to the far right and left with hot in the center....

Sounds like you put cartridge in 90 degrees wrong. Did you take it apart and check to see if you ligned up the tabs correctly? If they are in correctly you have gotten the wrong cartridge replacement.

I need replacement part for bath sink cartridge 4570

The Moen 1225 or 1200 cartridges are the same except the 1200 is brass in stead of plastic. They will fit most Moen single handle faucets. If it is a two-handle faucet, the 1224 cartridge will fit most two-handle models unless it is a fancy widespread faucet more than about 15 years old. I don't know the model numbers for those cartridges. All of these cartridges require a removal tool if you can't get them out with a pair of pliers.

Moen fauset # 1225 Shower new cartridge and it still drips.

is it official moen 1225 ? generics can be of poor quality. turn off house water and remove cartridge. Small fingers? Put in valve and feel for debris or turn on whole house again for a few seconds to flush out valve. try another cartridge. Or try this first. take off handle and push in on stem. does drip stop. ? perhaps handle is not on right.
