Need weather codes for Paducah Kentucky

Do you mean the S.A.M.E. codes for NOAA weather radios?

The codes are county-wide so you need the code for McCracken County. The S.A.M.E. code to enter into your radio is 021145. The recommended transmitter is in Mayfield at 162.475 MHz (channel 4 when programming most weather radios). For other NOAA S.A.M.E. codes see http://www.weather.gov/nwr/indexnw.htm . The codes are listed by state and then by county. If you look at the coverage map (see the links on the left hand side of the page), you can look at the transmitter coverage area to find alternative transmitters to use if the Mayfield one is down.

I hope this helps.

I need to know My Code for choctaw county AL

Good morning, afternoon, evening or night; whatever time of day you are viewing this solution post. Thank you for choosing FixYa to assist with your request. You're requesting the S.A.M.E code for Choctaw County Alabama? I am about to give you the website address to type into your URL address box. From there you will be able to obtain the S.A.M.E code for your county as well as other programming information, if needed, for your radio.

http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/CntyCov/nwrAL.htm

Your county's name is listed twice in that list. The reason for this is that your county has two transmitter towers stationed in its broadcasting area. This means your county has two transmitter channels as well. This is helpful if one station's transmitter is out of service. Your S.A.M.E code is the same though in both locations. I hope this website will help you in the future.Thank you for choosing FixYa as your one-stop solution spot for your problems and requests. Stay safe this Severe Weather Season and stay up-to-date with NOAA Weather Radio broadcasting. Visit our website in the future and have a good day, evening or night; whatever time of day your are viewing this solution post.

Need code for columbia co. ga 30907

1. Type in this URL address-http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/indexnw.htm.

2. Click on your state

3. Find the county you live in. The S.A.M.E. code should be listed in the "SAME#" column. If you have two codes for your county, it probably means one of the codes transmits for different regions of your county. No problem, all you have to do is check your frequency station. Whatever frequency receives the best reception for your county (for example 162.450), put in the S.A.M.E code for the county that has that frequency.

3. Find the county you live in. The S.A.M.E. code should be listed in the "SAME#" column. If you have two codes for your county, it probably means you have more than one frequency channel for your county. No problem, all you have to do is check the frequency channels for your county. Whatever frequency receives the best reception for your region (for example 162.450), try that on the radio along with punching in its S.A.M.E code.

I need to know what my code is for platte county mo.

Click this link- http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/CntyCov/nwrMO.htm. Your county name is listed twice, which means you have two frequency channels. Try both frequency channels on your radio and the one with that receives the best reception is the one that you should listen to on your radio.

I need to know my county code

To find the county cod, go here:

http://www.nws.noaa.gov/nwr/indexnw.htm

This will provide you with a list of states. Click on your state, then look for your county on the left. In your case, that's Randolph County. You'll notice there are 4 listings for Randolph County, but the code is the same for all four locations within Randolph County: 037151. The difference is the frequency on which it's broadcast and the station doing the broadcasting. Just enter in the code as is and your radio will pick up the closest station and frequency to you.

And that's all there is to it!
