Absolutely no way to know, although possibly the first part is a date code for March 2006. There is no universal database of serial numbers. Each brand has their own method, which may vary over time and which factory made the brand. ***If the brand is not on the head tube and the model is not on the frame the bike has no significant value.***

Need to know what kind of bike i bought the serial number is SNFS09G41987

Absolutely no way to ID a bike by serial number alone. The brand of bike is on the head tube (where the fork goes through the frame) and the model is on a decal on the frame. If those are missing it DOES NOT MATTER what the bike is, and it's possible it is stolen. Parts are universal and a (cheaply) repainted bike has little value.

What kind of BMX bike do I have? This is the number on bottom of the bike - F93082156. Thanks, I hope you can help.

It is very rare that one can ID a bike by serial number. Only a few indicate the brand within the number (such as MOS - Murray). Please see my tip for more info:
How to determine the year value etc of your bicycle

p.s. Posting the same question multiple times won't get you a better answer. Nobody is going to be able to ID that frame by serial number alone, and it's not that important anyway, either for value (which is nil) or for repair parts (which are pretty universal).

Windsor Wellington 2.0 serial number location on the bike

Serial numbers are typically on the underside of the bottom bracket (where the cranks go through the frame), on the left rear dropout (where the rear hub axle is attached to the frame) or sometimes on the bottom of the head tube (where fork goes through frame). Serial number is typically useful only for registering a bike in case of theft or for recalls.

Where is the serial # located?

Usually under bottom bracket (crank housing) or on outside of left rear dropout. Front of head tube may have a date code. Serial number is not very helpful with bikes. How to determine the year value etc of your bicycle

I found a Schwinn bicycle and wanted to know the year was told to post the serial number on the bottom of the frame it is w921336

Schwinn bikes made in the last several decades were made at many different overseas factories, and serial numbers varied. Look for a date code on the head tube or badge (where the fork goes through the frame. That is more helpful for date of manufacture. Would be helpful had you told us the model of the bike.

Looking for the make of a frame with this serial number U485606471 or U4356064171

Locating your bike's serial number. The majority of serial numbers are located under the bottom bracket where the two pedal cranks meet. Simply turn your bike upside down and record the number. If there is no serial number there then check places like the headset at the front of the bike or the rear stays.

Where do I find the serial number

TREK bicycles have the serial number on the underside of the down tube near the crankset. Flip your bike so that the wheels are up and look at the tube near the pedals (on the tube that runs towards the handlebars).

Many TREK manuals are available here: You can find a good picture of the parts of the bicycle and their names in the manual.

Some other brands of bicycles have their serial numbers on the seat tube near the crankset.

I hope this helps.
