All you have to do is...
hold down the (RED) End button and the (GREEN) Send button at the same time, and while still holding them down POKE your stylus in the soft reset hole at the bottom of phone.
Soft Reset button is located to the right of the mini USB charging port, assuming the phone's screen is facing you.
Confirm you want to Format and Done!
P.S. Sometimes if you don't hold the Green and Red buttons hard enough they tend to unclick and reclick if you don't apply Firm and even pressure. Also if you still have trouble make sure the phone is in the BOOTING cycle when you attempt this.

1) From the Start Screen, press the Menu button and select Settings.
2) Select SD & phone storage.
3) Select Factory data reset.
4) Select Reset phone.
You will be prompted again, and select Erase everything.
The device will reset and restore the device to the original
