1) check your power source by trying another electrical appliance there like a lamp or something
2) clean out the power input socket by blowing into it to remove any dust or dirt
3) make sure that any electrical pin or wire in the input socket is not damaged or bent (if it is take it back to where ever you bought it)
4) if all of the about have failed you then you probably have a faulty devise. Don't be too concerned but this does mean that you will have to exchange it for a new one at the shop where you bought it.
