If you want 1:25 mix, total 5 L, it works this way:

5 L is 5000 mL, so the oil needed is 1/25 of that which is 200 mL. This actually totals 5200 mL, but I'm assuming you start with 5 L petrol.

If you want exactly 5 L just add 200 mL oil to 4800 mL of petrol, which is almost the same.

You need to go by the oil to gas ratio. 1/3rd what?

Google 50:1 (or whatever) mix in litres

and you will find this

Google 50 1 mix in litres Google Search

*Mixing* ratios. For a *mixing* ratio of 1 : 50 you need 5 *litres* of high-octane gas and 0.10 *litres* (100 ml) of STIHL two-stroke oil.

There are 3785.4 ml per gallon. The rest of your question is ambiguous.

If you are saying that you mix 1 ml of bioactive in 9 ml of water for each gallon, then 7 ml of bioreactive in 63 ml of water.

If you are saying you mix 1 mi of bioreactive for each 9 ml of tank water, then your talking about 3785.4 / 9 = 420.6 ml (~421 ml). That does not seem right.

One US gallon is 3785 ml, so you need that much water which is 3785 / 50 = 75.7 measures (tablespoons).

So 75.7 tablespoons flour and 75.7 x 50 ml water = 3785 ml.

If you mean imperial gallons the answer is different, 4546 ml water and 90.9 tablespoons flour.

Two cycle engines run on a mixture of gasoline and oil. Each engine type is designed to run on a specific gas-to-oil mix ratio.

IMPORTANT: Use only oil that is labeled for use in "Two-cycle" or "Two-stroke" engines. Home Depot and other stores now have "premixed fuel" of gas and 2 cycle oil.

To mix two-cycle fuel, start by putting correct amount of oil in gas can. Then slowly add correct amount of gasoline. Do not try to mix gas and oil directly in gas tank of equipment.

IMPORTANT: Do not use any fuel that is over 30 days old. Do not mix more fuel than you are likely to use in a month. Old fuel can gum carburetors and prevent starting. Always use fresh fuel.

The chart below shows correct amount of oil per gallon that each mixing ratio requires. Expect that yours will be between 32 gas to1 oil and 50 to 1. 32:1 and 50:1 are most popular.

Quite simple if the mix says 1:50 ( one to 50 ) ,it means for every one ounce of oil you add 50 ounces of gasoline.

If the instructions say 1/50 ( one of 50 parts) ,it means for every let us say 50 ounces of mix there are 49 ounces of gas and one ounce of oil.I use a one liter wine bottle !000 ml ,I put in 20 ml of oil fill bottle with gas and shake well-ps (mark bottle -hate to take a swig). If you are into avoirdupois system use 1 ounce oil add 50 ounces fresh gas .
