Hitachi 4k 60" tv is having issues. when pushing the volume button on the remote it gitches and sends me me "please run auto scan" super frustrated I just bought this in novemeber

If you don't have a remote, Go to the menu where it says run channel auto scan, hover over the run button and .(on the tv) press volume up, volume down, input and menu at the same time. This (depending on your model) should start the scan

I had come home about a week ago and pushed the power button from my remote but my tv did not respond. So I just went to the front panel and pushed power but once the tv turned on, the volume was on full blast! I used the front panel volume decrease to get the volume down, but when I stopped pushing the button, the tv increased its volume to full blast again by itself! Naturally I just turned the tv off for a few moments. I tried the remote again, no response again, so I used the panel power button. The tv volume was still full blast when it turned on but after I decreased the volume it stayed this time. The picture is and has been perfectly fine and the tv was working fine. The next day the problem started all over and now once we turned it off from frustration of having to manually use the panel to change channels, it now will not turn on at all. I have changed batteries from my remote, reprogrammed my remote, pushed system reset several times, unplugged it for a while, bought a new surge charge, and even held the menu and device panel buttons for 10 sec and tried to turn the t.v. on again! What other options do I have or what may be the issue at hand and possible parts that may need to be replaced?? Thanks!!

I would find a universal remote and program it or order a replacement remote or check eBay for a remote that is identical to the one you have now, just sounds like your remote is bad.

Used the tv remote go into tv Menu goto SETUP go down Ch. enter pick CABLE and enter again.Tv now will go into auto scanning for CABLE channels.After the auto scan done for the CABLE channels are finish.After this u will able to go to channel 60 to used the dish remote.

It sounds either volume down button is bad that turns volume down on its own or system control chip got defective and decreasing volume level.
Press volume down button on tv front and check is it working properly.

After turning on the TV and viewing the message to "reset the lamp" I became frustrated and attempted to shut the TV off by pushing the power button. A message popped up saying "Do you want turn the TV off Yes / no.
I toggled down using the volume/Channel button on the tv to say no. The next thing i know...The TV picture came on and the la,p was reset!!! I really don not know how this happened! but it worked! Thanks for your assistance. Now, i can program a remote!

On the tv press and hold the + and - volume control buttons and the buttons should unlock.

Most likely the buttons on the tv are stuck or malfunctioning, replacment of the button pannel will solve the issue
