The nabi tablets despite the price are horribly built. The only way to fix it is to buy a new one and in that case I would recommend the Samsung Galaxy tab 3 kids edition at $199 you get a bright yellow gt3 with a very nice orange bumper case and a great user interface for both kids and adults (switchable between regular Samsung touchwiz and a kids mode)
Hi Liz Bob again, if there's no pin hole in the case anywhere.Then it's a software driven reset. You need to hold certain keys down. This posting doesn't allow URLS so I can't give you the link. usually since protech9 tablets are new from what i am reading dont have serial#s but if you get into your tablet settings there should be a model number after arriving at the tablet info button or link
