Hi there, I have a H23 fault code up on my CS-E24PKR Panasonic inverter AC. Could you please advise what to check relating to the Indoor heat exchanger temperature sensor?

The system has already determined that the thermistor is faulty so I wouldn't bother checking it as they are cheap and easy to obtain. The thermistor in question is one of two located at the right hand side of the indoor heat exchanger (the metal radiator-like assembly). One is the air temperature sensor and the other is the pipe/heat exchanger sensor. The air temp. thermistor is the one just in front of the heat exchanger held by a plastic clip. The pipe/heat exchanger sensor is the one that sits in a small metal tube near the copper pipes leading to the heat exchanger. It is usually a fairly tight fit because of a small metal insert to keep it in place. Use some small needle nose pliers on the metal insert to pull the thermistor out - NOT THE WIRES! Of course, make sure power to the A/C is completely off first.
You will probably have to replace both of the thermistors as they usually have the wires going to the same single plug on the controller board.

Hi, I have just bought an LG MS4042GRS microwave which has intermittent vibration still day 1, but when I put my hand on the top of machine vibration stops. Is this normal?

Kim, I would say no to the vibration, return to place of purchase for exchange or refund. My 8 year old microwave does not vibrate, so a new one definitely should not.

Induction fault e6

E6 - Defect Induction module or over temperature of coil sensor with Falcon User interface with production date before 2010

Defect Induction module
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains for 30 sec. If alarm still occurs after 1 min operation exchange induction module.

Over temperature of coil sensor with Falcon User interface with production date before 2010
- temperature sensor defect or wrong mounted.
  1. Check connector at induction module.
  2. Check the coil sensor, it should be placed even in the silicon carrier.
  3. Appliances with 3 zones, is the "Dummy" temperature sensor at the 2nd terminal mounted?
  4. Exchange coil with sensor.
  5. If above is without success, exchange induction module.

Recently I put a new heat exchanger on this H400 hayward heater. Went back out to check on it and the lights were not on anymore. So I checked the hi limit and replaced it and the heater worked agian. Went...

High limits are safty switches to keep the heater from over heating and runing your new exchanger. you will need to check the by-pass inside the water manifold. It could be the problem but hook up the limits in the mean time. As you are aware at this time the exchanger is your most expensive heater part you can buy.

You need to buy the whole unit as these are pressed in place together. If you have a leak it is most likly due to chemical damage and goes further. So at the least you will need an exchanger. I will usually try to get people to go with a new heater if it is more than a couple of years old due to cost and hidden damage that can only come out after you install a new exchanger. Sorry for the bad news.
