This is not the machine that I own, so I would suggest that you find a manual specific to this one and check it out.

Cd burning problems

Hello.....I have a unit similar to yours...and I never had that ptoblem...These units are cool and I love mine...but the cassette players are generally basic units...When you record are you listening to the music at the same time so that you know what's going on?....Ok....When you start the recording process....and you see the disc is rcording...and the cassette finished playing one side...you PAUSE the cd....Flip the tape....press the Pause again to restart the cd...I've never saw one of these types of uits with auto reverse...you have to flip the tape manualy...if you don't...you will only record half of the music....I hope this was helpful.....PEACE.......

When I press record the machine take up reel sputters. Also while rcording makes a noise

It will be good to do a good clean up of the reel drive and the take up drive. look for dirt or grease that prevents a clean take up or smooth drive. This will create some static which cause the noise while recording. Clean the surfaces so that the drive moves without friction. Hope you can take out the mechanism and do this service. Good day

Dazzle will only rcord 103 minutes and movies are 120

Are you on Windows? What version (XP, 98, Vista, etc?)
What file system are you using (right click on the drive in My Computer and select Properties)

If you are using FAT32, there is a built in limit to 2GB files. If you are finding that your capture is hitting 2GB (=103min?) and then crashing, this may be your problem. Also, consult the capture settings in the Dazzle software and ensure no file size or running time limitation is selected there.

Magic Singalong Song Chips - question please

Not exactly, magic sing comes in different models with different song chip. Old magic sings uses Black with metal song chip, Black song chips, Silver song chips and Gray song chips.

For your Magic sing II (I believed it has four song chips slot) the compatible song chip is the Silver song chip.

Recording in Acid Pro 5

Are you plugging the instrument directly into the computer? If so you only have mono jacks from your bass, guitar so on and so forth! So in channel in only one to record! Try using a stereo microphone and record pointing at the amp. That way you will get stereo through your device. If that is not the problem make sure that the settings on the Prosonus is set to output stereo. And for most check all your plugs to make sure they are stereo inputs and outputs.
