Have a look to make sure that the pump and drain hose are unblocked. If they are, you might have to call Asko and arrange a service call.

The machine has activated a safty seq. There is most likely water on the lower buttom. Leakage or drain pipe blocked. The power will get to the drain pump, when this happends. To prevent overflow on your kitchen floor. Dry out the water. Then it will start as usual.

The overflow capture plate is flooded. Basically, any overflow falls to the bottom of the unit to protect the floor. There's a foam floater attached to a lever which floats up and triggers a switch sending F2 error. Best to open bottom front skirt and sponge up any water still in the spill sump, or remove back panel to better access the water and sponge it up. F2 error message vanishes once float drops and machine starts working correctly again. Remember to fix cause of flooding, which is usually are blocked sink drain pipe. This blockage causes sink water to flow into the machine instead of down the drain.
