I have a toro snow thrower 622 that is leaking fuel. its coming from under the unit fast. any ideas to why and how to repair?

a rapid volume leak could indicate a cracked/rotted fuel hose. Not uncommon for a gasoline engine that sits for long periods of time between use. If all hoses seem in order a stuck float valve(needle & seat) in the carburator would also cause rapid overflow of fuel. This willm require a carb overhaul to repair

I have a toro snowblower. i cannot pull the pull cord. it feels like it is stuck.

Pull your spark plug out and see if the cord will pull out, if it does than that means your cylinder is full of gas which is a result of ethanol in the gas causing the needle valve to leak causing fuel to siphon from tank to cylinder, pull your carb off and put a carb kit in and you will be blowing snow in no time,if this isnt the problem then enjine may be seized up and its time to replace blower. Good Luck!

I have a Toro S620 snow blower, I push the primer bulb and it starts right up then dies. If I keep pushing the primer bulb continualy it will keep running but the moment I quit it dies.

The carburetor bowl needs to be taken off and most likely the float and needle need replacing. When you prime the carb, this is shooting gas straight to the carb instead of traveling though the jets. This is a very easy task, but I know if you're using a snow blower you need it quick. The kit is about $5 and be sure to take your machines info with you.

I just saw on another site to start it, and lower the handle to the ground and then straight up in the air to move fuel that has leaked from the carb out of the crankcase. I'm going to try this too as I am having the same problem. Good Luck!!-Nancy

Can't keep my snow blower running under load, cleaned carb, but do not know adjustment procedure for a tecumseh 7.5 hp 15 year old snow blower

there should be an ajustment screw on the carb. turn it all the way in don't turn it hard then turn the screw back out 1 1/2 turn to start out with then after runing turn till it runs evenly.

Mower won't turn over

Keep it in the kitchen over night. Or anywhere that is environmentally controlled for that matter. Should start right up as soon as you get it outside.
