IS IT AN ABOVEGROUND OR SUBMERSIBLE (INGROUND) PUMP. USUALLY THIS IS CAUSED BY A BAD CAPACITOR OR BURNT POINTS ON THE PRESSURE SWITCH. THE CAPACITOR IS EITHER IN A RELAY BOX AT THE WELL OR IN THE MOTOR CASING. HOPE THIS HELPS. JODY

if the pump is 220v make sure that both fuses in the unit are on. If both fuses/breakers are good and the unit isn't pumping water the unit may have froze up. Remove the power from the unit and try to manually rotate the motor shaft at an attempt to free it up. If that doesn't seem to work the bearings may need to be replaced.
