It leaks when you pour your coffee.

This is a common situation and is not difficult to resolve... When pouring, the coffee follows the spout when poured slowly but will have a tendency to follow the lid, up the sides, when poured fast. The easiest way to pour without this problem is to slightly raise the lid while pouring; this allows the coffee to go in the general pouring direction without spills. Give it a try, it is an easily adopted habit to get into and can be done with just one hand.

HOW DO I CLEAN THIS COFFEE POT

I suggest you use vinegar acid.

You need a solution with half part water and half part vinegar acid.

1) pour 4 cups of water into your coffee machines water tank.

2) pour 4 cups of vinegar acid into your coffee machines water tank.

3) turn on your coffee machine to decalc.

4) refill tank with clean cold water and let it run through ( 2 times)

REMEMBER !!! ALWAYS POUR ACID into WATER !!!! AND NOT THE OPPOSITE !!!
If you pour water into acid it can explode and make terrible damages and cause chemical burns!!!

Hope this will help ypu

Em-200iHR. after starting brewing, it stops and starts beeping. won't run full cycle. tried purging water. no success. happens intermittently

Try pouring a solution of equal parts of white vinegar and water into the machine and let it cook for a while. Several times through the machine will dissolve any calcium and coffee build up and "may" correct the situation. Note this is also the way to clean coffee percolaters and steam irons

Coffee on the Countertop!

This is how my husband pours: he holds the lid open with the thumb lever and pours. It seems to work better if you pour slow. (I am always in too much of a hurry:)
