I had the same Black Screen problem and I finally have a fix for it!
When using component video cables and a HDTV: Go into the Wii's system settings, under Screen, change TV Resolution to HDTV (480p) instead of Standard TV (480i) and change to Widescreen (16:9) under Widescreen Settings.
This worked for me, good luck!
SOURCE: it always goes in a white screen and never works
although i will not condone game piracy as appears to be the case here, maybe you should update the firmware,

keeping in mind it's this sort of blatent piracy that kills the game industry.
If its only 3 mnths old should still be under WARRANTY take it back
if its not under warranty
