How to turn on a dryer if the part where u insert the quarters is took in off completely

If you mean the whole top part lock box and all forget it that has the timer in it
If you just mean the coin slot then you might be able to access the timer and see timer and advance it

Washing machine wont come on but i check the plugs and the push button are okey . you know any other parts that needs to be replace ? thank you.

If this is a kenmore front loader (boxy type made by frigidaire), the button must be
depressed for several seconds. The second problem with this model is the "coin
mechanism" cam must be in the correct position to operate the machine. If someone
puts in coins two times without starting, it can get out of sequence with the timer.
If you have a key, open coin box and move the metal arm back until the cam advances
to just before the big dip. (with the unit unplugged). The next cycle will allow the
arm to drop and engage the microswitches. If you don't have a key put coins in the
slide mechanism as though you were going to start the machine and
depress button until machine starts, this will reset the cam to the correct position.
Hard to explain but if you look at the coin mechanism, it will become obvious.
If you need a new mechanism it is called the "start mechanism" for front loaders.
Hope this helps.

MY KELVINATOR KL15TL WASHING MACHINE DOES NOT START THE SICLE AFTER LETTING IN THE WATER

I can think of three possible causes. The first is the timer not advancing to the wash cycle. Try manually advancing the timer and see if it will start. The second possibility is the drive motor or drive belt. Open the access panel to see if the belt is intact, then see if the motor starts when you manually advance the timer to wash. The third possibility is the lid switch. You can usually get to it by inserting a putty knife in the two from corners to pop the spring clips open, and the top flips back.

I just bought a house that included in the sale a Maytag Coin-op Washer and Dryer. The coin box on each contains a key. How do I disable the need for putting coins in the washer and dryer so that I can...

  1. purchase a coin insert and blank the slot that coins fit in, then the slide will slid in without coins, just acting like a button, if you examine the slide you wil notice that there are plastic inserts in unused coin slots, any maytag commercial dealer has them.
  2. replace coin slide with 'free operation' converter, which is just a button plate that pushes the striker on the timer switch
  3. take top cover off and just push the striker on the timer, (this is NOT) a recommended option, 220v is enough to spoil you whole day)

Refrigerator is not working

If you open the refrig door and the light comes on you have power.

Most likely the defrost timer has stopped working.

The timer is often located inside the refrigerator part of the unit, or under the remove-able face on the bottom of the frig.

You can manually advance the timer with a screw driver or a coin. The place that you advance the timer is a round object in the middle of the face of the timer. You must rotate this part of the timer. The design is such that you can only rotate the timer in one direction.

If you rotate this and the compressor motor begin to work then you can be sure the problem is the timer motor. Sometimes the wire breaks off the contacts that run the little motor inside the timer.

You can buy a new one and replace this quickly.

Do replace the timer if rotating the compressor starts. Rotating the timer is not a fix, it is only a test. The timer is designed to defrost the refrig Failure to have a defrost cycle is bad.
